Oh right, the problem with living out in the middle of nowhere... getting TO a job...

At least it's all plain two lane country roads to get to either part of town not requiring a single highway. But ya know. All 60+mph. And like 25 minute drives in good traffic.

#taks speaks #i just reapplied to my old job so here's to hoping they have an opening #BUT i have been told that costco is hiring at like $22 an hour here and uh hello #BUT that's in an area of town that's relatively new (i never been and it was kinda built while i was out of town)#and an extra 5-10 minutes up said country roads #but you know. gotta get money to help support my partner who likely can't work an in person job due to a disability #as well as a cat and a high maintenance elderly dog who i need to take to the vet at some point #i gotta get REALLY used to driving on my own and maybe get back into screaming along to emo music as i do to keep myself sane #i'm the type to yell at other drivers on the road to my music #current favorite is adjusting the lyrics of green day songs. specifically basket case and american idiot #those two songs work VERY well for that #even if it doesn't fit (ex: maybe i'm the faggot america. because i use my fucking BLINKER)#I'm gonna need to break back in my old work boots and compression socks and get more tylenol for my bag #...so much more tylenol judging by recent back pain issues #i need to get that checked out so HOPEFULLY one of these jobs has fucking medical coverage
