Okay for future reference next time I make a post about a character I like let’s not turn it into discourse please and thank you. Especially if I don’t know you. I don’t wanna be rude but it’s so annoying seeing stuff like that in my notes I do not care I just wanted to post about a character I liked.

I feel like people are ignoring the rainbows because they don’t wanna be a Kaylor or something. Like I’m not saying they have to be gay but I feel like that’s what people think they could be implying. Also if you do feel like she might be gay it’s like you’re automatically a disrespectful tinhatter that obviously makes Kaylor fanfic. Idk if she’s gay and I’m not a Kaylor but I won’t say it doesn’t look like she could be could be hinting at.

hONESTLY I FEEL THAT okay like full disclosure I don’t really have much stake in whether the rainbows r a reference to gay stuff or to just being a sparkly unicorn loving human being, like that side of it i don’t care - like yeah I get where the theories r coming from, and yeah obviously I am gonna support taylor if she chose to disclose her sexuality but I feel like we rly need to get over this idea that if you’re an lgbt fan excited abt taylor being involved in lgbt culture you’re a tinhatting kaylor, like it’s OVER it’s NOT 2016 ANYMORE LADIES 

also like highkey, the whole kaylor stigma is only so intense because it’s a way to undercut lgbt fans in general like, as if we’re all tinhatting when we know that’s only a very select few people, most of which ??? I rarely see ??? but of course, if anyone so much as MENTIONS kaylor ur the worst most unsupportive creepy stalker fan in the world, and it’s not like they’re two people who never had contact they’re literally friends and it’s not the responsibility of the lgbt community in taylor’s fanbase to separate themselves from kaylor whether they care about their relationship or not just to be able to validate themselves as like a Proper and Sane Fan!!!! (a concept that absolutely does not exist when it comes to taylor’s relationships with boys btw) and it’s just so fucki ng passive aggressive like in this fandom to be an lgbt fan who is #valid you have to jump through these particular hoops otherwise you’re a tinhatter and it’s bullshit sO WHAT if you like kaylor, or you like karlie, like being an lgbt fan and hoping that in some sense ur fave can understand the lgbt experience isn’t something that should be so vilified 

also like seeing a rainbow on every aspect of this era and bein like ‘that’s gay’ also not the crime of the century, any more than making edits of taylor lyrics w/ karlie’s face or just fuckin being like, ‘i relate this song to my experience as a member of the lgbt community’ like it’s all fuckin valid. ya there are lines not to be crossed, but no one is out here assuming anything for certain I think most ppl will acknowledge that but gOD can straight ppl let lgbt fans in this fandom LIVE without acting like we’re holding taylor hostage until she comes out because I promise u if she showed up today like ‘i’m straight bitches’ we’d still fuckin be here and then what leg would u all have to stand on when we make our gay edits and fuking point out how the rainbows r gay culture like god just let us live
