fun fact, the winter a year before covid first hit (so 2018-19) my local doctors and urgent care put in place a policy of "if you think you have the cold or flu, please wear a mask" and a supply at the door next to the sign. people more or less respected that, and the few jerks that didnt were considered outliers and assholes for it
