Woe to you!
By Marcuz Antonio E. Balina
Woe to you, wretched times of long ago!
Trouble my mind, I beseech you, no more.
My body and soul pleads you to forgo,
Fatal mistakes that threw the world offshore!
Dreadful decisions made by me alone,
Counseled by your malevolent swindlers.
They lead me to you, glorious Queen enthroned,
To fall in your chamber of cadavers!
Behind your alluring simplicity,
the stench of cruelty, your blood-red hands!
You lured us all to your captivity,
Lethal caresses that are hell’s quicksand!
Why undertake such an appalling path:
Desolation relieved with wanton wrath!

Once the Deepest Wound
written by k.n. bengco
Once held the hands of a person I loved
Till our hands slowly let go of old age
To keep him hold next to me, I once wished
Till I felt as if being in a cage
Behind me had happened an accident
I continued as it silently blew
Touch of another, time that has been spent
As lust decided, caused him to say new
Seeing in front a place I once called home
Time helped me as I strived to move forward
Remembered times as if we were in Rome
As I look back never stopping forward.
But nothing good comes from what is broken
Doors with lost keys can never come open.

“Finite” by Arian Castro
Tick tock on the clock as my body clock's about to stop.Or so I think so as my hair falls a thousand strands. It's not like i'mo not aware of it, so why don't just people stop. Stop saying that everything's going to be alright but my hair is not holding tight. Tight, that is what should be if I have taken care of myself right . Right, right to be love despite not being alright every time. Alright, that is what everything around me now that i'm not alright. And suddenly, I've love myself for not having some might all the time.

Summer Nostalgia
Everything, everything I remember The house where I was born The small window where Mr. sun Came peeking at the early morn The warmth and joy he brings to me Gives me comfort and peace Enough to make smile joyfully Makes everything feel at ease I remember the song my mom used to sing So sweet and delicate feels like caressing I remember the food my dad used to make He not only cook but also can bake Back then life was really easy I will hold it near my heart, loving it dearly

Token (Conventional Poem)
By: Vincent Renei Dizon
Oh to spend time with you makes my heart pound.
The way your eyes sparkle and shine like stars
the happiness when you beat me in rounds,
spending time with you for minutes and hours.
In my purse, the last token that I saw
I kept it in my hands as remembrance.
The moment you smiled at me I’m in awe
and the way you glanced is my assurance.
As I go back to where we used to play
I hold the memories with the token.
I saw you with someone who made you day
it left my heart shattered and feel broken.
Smiled as my tears fell and left the arcade
what possibly this token should’ve made.

(Conventional Poem)
Author: Rivera, Keanna Marise N.
Wish we could go back in time,
Where it used to be happy.
Seeing the sun bright shine at daytime,
Now, seeing the sun shine looks snappy.
Memories still here,
Where small thing is enough.
But all the happiness disappear,
Like life have been bluff.
Moments we may cherish,
For the rest of our lives.
The life we lived before have been perish,
Wishing my childhood to be relived.
The past inspires us,
And all we need is to adjust.

Regrets | Conventional Poem
Conventional Poem
By Jaymi C Due
| REGRETS
There’s always that one enthralling sweet night
Where we look back and think about the past
How I wish we can go back and feel alright
Ignore and forget our worries and blast
A lot of regrets going through my mind
What should I need to do to let you go
If my heart and soul can’t leave you behind
As our times still haunts me and seeks for woe
Reminiscing the shadow of our bond
As I lay down, drowning in my own thoughts
It’s bittersweet to end things that we fond
But it’s for the better, that’s what I sought
Now, I’m ready to let go of your hands
Your sorrow will end and I understand

For the Moment of Blissfulness
Conventional Poem #3 by Y. Bundalian
------
For some reasons, I am deeply happy
That everything seems right all day and night.
First time, I don’t feel that someone’s trapped me,
In a room full of pains, I see the light;
Hope and will that they gave me everyday,
Became my inspirations in my life.
It is like a movie themed, fairytale,
That do not experience such as strife.
I got peace of mind once in a lifetime,
Which is all I want to stay not just
All life, without them giving me a dime;
Because I think that this thing is a must.
—I knew this will end maybe tomorrow,
This experience that I only borrow.

Yesterday
a conventional poem, shakespearean sonnet
written by Chloe Kyronne Ysais
It’s in the middle of a cold dark night.
Your past mistakes are knocking through your door,
By the window, a shadow is in sight,
Owned by the one you once called Mi amor.
They are keeping you awake and in fear--
Of reopening the yesterday’s wound.
The bleeding that once cannot disappear.
And made you lost and nowhere to be found
Out of nowhere, there’s presence of calmness,
The moonlight suddenly struck in your room--
Telling you that you don’t deserve this mess--
Thinking this will really put you in doom.
There’s someone what will accept your stitches
And is more deserving of your kisses.

"Left in the Past"
By: Sean Mathew Torres
You were all dressed up, bags behind your legs. You walk up to me, while I’m cooking eggs.
The sun lining your figure, makes me think
That your last time here, just makes me down sick.
Love is mean for sure, teardrops will fall down
As I wipe my hands, I look up to you
No please stay with me, you say please don’t frown,
I say as I look, “You’re my ride or die”
I told you that “No matter what you did- I'd be by your side” Whether fail or fly.
But when you walked out, a piece of me died.
Looking back, I was young, crazy for love.
Now that you are gone, I know that you lied. Yet I will still wait for love were thereof.

A Letter To My Past
To my past, I thank you for being there
If I were to call you, come with a smile
Do not disappear to me like thin air
But first, let me take a breath for a while
You made me feel exhilarating joy
But, you have also made me feel sadness
I lie in bed and dream of corduroy
I also lie there and dream of blackness
To my past, you are full of my mistakes
I have done so much that I just regret
Surely, I know in my heart it just aches
Whatever I did I just can’t forget
And yet, all I do is just reminisce
To my past, thank you for your existence.
