i like that etho and bdubs are friends in the way that no matter how long its been since theyve played in a series there is some kind of pull- be it actually teaming up, wanting to be with each other despite teams, or even the lightest of recognition that they could be together.

this gets me bc last life established how close they had to be together- like that was truly The example of how they can be when they get together in a series with Bdubs having the obvious attachment. Double Life forced that to not happen but even so Etho, more surprisingly, hinted at wanting to be with Bdubs/insulting Bdubs' team mate. And then we get to Limited Life... and I think we all know how that went- Bdubs really really voicing how much he'd betray his team for Etho.

Time span is so important here and its what makes me love them. Its been about two years since Last Life. Thats not incredibly long of course, but I feel for many through the series its pretty easy to swap around chosen teams after a year has passed, or not carry much weight between them, or in general just happening to pair up unexpectedly and not questioning it. I have never seen a duo so strongly voice the times they want to be together, its kind of ridiculous. Put them in a series where survival and teaming is important and this happens- its happened multiple times. (this makes me think of how interesting it would be to see UHC again with those two lol). And I am curious as to how teaming up will go in the next Life series... will they just put aside the fact they havent managed to team since three seasons ago, or will it just be at that point where one of them knows they need to team up and establish it immediately?
