Ik this is probably unoriginal, but I want to make a Ninjago AU where they all are permanently changed from the shit that happens to them (aka what I wanna call the Consequences AU)

-Cole: Becomes half ghost/half human after Day of the Departed (kinda like Danny Phantom)

-Jay: Becomes fully/partially serpentine after Once Bitten, Twice Shy / has an eyepatch after Skybound

-Nya: Becomes permanently made out of water after Seabound (she would be able to be on land and would be un-merged with the ocean)

-Lloyd: Becomes more oni/dragon-like after accepting himself after Crystalized / missing an arm (IK THAT IS FROM THE MOVIE BUT SHH)

-Zane: Has occasional angry outbursts after Secrets of Forbidden Spinjitzu

-Kai: She transes her gender (No there is no canon explanation for this, deal with it)

-Wu: Becomes more oni/dragon like after Hands of Time (in baby form, he is unable to control his shapeshifting powers) / stays younger for way longer after Hands of Time

Consequences AU

So poor Bones finds out that he now randomly transforms into some eldritch angel thing after he brings Jim back from the dead. He found out in fact a few days before Jim woke up, when he was alone in his apartment.

The whole thing scared the shit out of him and for a few hours he sat on the floor wondering what the hell to do and what the fuck was going on. Thankfully he found his body returning to normal a couple hours later. He doesn’t tell anyone about this because he’s honestly scared shitless about the whole thing, but also the fact that he has some inkling that this may be linked to bringing Jim back to life.

He doesn’t want Jim to feel guilty about it, so he keeps it secret and acts like nothing is wrong. So things go on like normal and Bones stays as Jim’s CMO, except every so often he locks himself in his cabin as his body shifts back into this new horrid form.

This works for awhile but as the stress of their missions begins to surmount, Bones is finding it harder and harder to keep himself human. There isn’t enough time to hide in his cabin any more and he finds himself gritting his teeth with sheer effort as he feels feather spread across his back during intense surgeries.

It of course goes to shit when Jim drags him onto an away mission and Bones finds himself transforming despite his damndest to hold it at bay, and well, Jim is left standing there in bewilderment as his best friend and CMO become an eldritch angel.

Consequences AU

Kirk was dead.

That simple fact wrecked Bones to the core. Kirk, no Jim couldn’t be dead, he CAN’T be dead. A world without Jim was simply not possible. For a moment Bones could only sit there in stunned silence, unknowing of the presence looming over him, watching him.

Then the tribble next to him purred to life. Bones watched the once dead animal’s body thrum with energy and within seconds he found himself moving, his trembling hands grabbing the sample of Kahn’s blood and ripping off the body bag that encased Jim.

The being behind him slipped it’s hands over his torso, it’s thin fingers pressing into his body with trepidation as it awaited his final decision. Bones gritted his teeth and looked down at the lifeless husk of his friend’s body.

He would bring Jim back.

Decision made, the invisible presence melted its hands into Bones body and traced his heart, making the medical officer shiver in response. If one is to step into the boundaries of the forboden then there will always be consequences
