I can't tell you why, but I don't like it. I find the whole musical fairly dull. Week one of @drawtober is done; still working on ideas for week 2, so I'm glad I have a few extra days to think about that one. I'm trying to keep these on the creepy/spooky side with darker undertones. A friend threw out the great idea of someone stepping out of their "normal human skin" to reveal a clown underneath. I wanted to go with a doll-like feel, so I opted for a painted on suit and included little ball joints; I also tried to imply a shiny porcelain kind of finish, so I bumped up the highlights on that bit. Overall, my uncreative self is pretty satisfied with this and I'm excited to try and actually finish this challenge successfully (since I've never finished one before) .
