What's up, buttercup?

I used to have a blog here with the same title but i forgot the password since I haven't accessed it in a decade. Wooops!

So what's new?

For one, I am a budding Christian. It's funny that I say that as a 31 year old. But, we must all start somewhere, right?

I guess at this age I am taking my faith a little more seriously than I did a decade ago. I've been through many heartaches, most of which could have been avoided. I've travelled a lot too, and I think I have grown so much in the past decade that it would simply make more sense to start fresh rather than being a nervous wreck in one post, then saying something completely different in another. In many ways, it would simply look like someone had hacked that account.

I was a very different person then. Some of it is still the same. I'm still ill tempered, narcissistic yet dealing with inferiority complex, slightly sadistic, and infinitely neurotic. You know, all my classy characteristics.

But this new blog is really about salvation. I want to share with you my very real and honest conversations with my friends, myself, and God. I figured, my chattering mind needs to let its thoughts flow and share to the world just in case it lands on someone's screen and they relate to it. And perhaps, they too can find salvation.

I don't pretend to know a lot about the Bible. It is a gift that keeps on giving. I read it once and then a couple weeks later I read it again, and I am amazed at what new things I have learned. And I think that is what God wants for me and you, to give each other the gift that will keep on giving; and that is wisdom.

I encourage you to discuss with me, explore with me, and together we can make this hike towards salvation a worthwhile ride.
