Clown Month 2023 is still months away, but in the meantime, let’s have some fun! Announcing the Clownblr Secret Santa Gift Exchange!

First off, what is a Secret Santa gift exchange?
A Secret Santa is a holiday gift exchange where participants create something for another person based on that person’s request. The fun of it is, once you know who you will be drawing for, you keep it a secret until you present it to them! And you will, in turn, receive a gift, but you won’t know from who until all the drawings are sent in.
Since this is a Clownblr (clown tumblr) event, all the requests and subsequent gifts must be clown-adjacent, but otherwise, you can request whatever you want.
The timeline:
On November 25th, the signups will be closed.
On December 1st, you will receive a tumblr dm informing you of who you are drawing for, and what their request is. You will then have until the posting dates to create their gift.
The posting period is December 25th 2022 - January 5th 2023. If you wish to post your drawing yourself on tumblr, you must tag the person the gift is for, as well as this blog ( @clownartmonth ) so that I can reblog it. You can also send your drawing to me directly, if you prefer for me to post it.
What I signed up, but find out I can’t participate or need more time?
That’s fine, life happens! Please inform me of it as soon as possible so that I can get a backup artist for your recipient’s request. You can also ask for an extension, within a reasonable time frame, which your recipient will be informed of.
General rules:
NSFW in not allowed, horror & gore is permitted only if your recipient explicitly asked for them.
You are not allowed to share your piece before the posting period (December 25th - January 5th)
This time, this event is limited to drawings (traditional or digital). Artists of all skill levels are welcomed, however you are expected to put in a minimum of effort into your piece. Remember, this is someone’s gift!

I was asked to be the backup gifter for @thought-bubble-doodly-doo of their character Comedi-Anne for the @clownartmonth gift exchange. It took me a little longer than expected, but I’m happy to finally be able to give you your clown gift! I hope you enjoy it!

First off, what is a Secret Santa gift exchange?
A Secret Santa is a holiday gift exchange where participants create something for another person based on that person’s request. The fun of it is, once you know who you will be drawing for, you keep it a secret until you present it to them! And you will, in turn, receive a gift, but you won’t know from who until all the drawings are sent in.

Since this is a Clownblr (clown tumblr) event, all the requests and subsequent gifts must be clown-adjacent, but otherwise, you can request whatever you want, as long as it is SFW.
The timeline:
On November 25th, the signups will be closed.
On December 1st, you will receive a message, either through tumblr dms or the other means of contact you put in, informing you of who you are drawing for, and what their request is. You will then have until the posting dates to create their gift.
The posting period is December 25th 2023 - January 5th 2024. If you wish to post your drawing yourself on tumblr, you must tag the person the gift is for, as well as this blog ( @clownartmonth ) so that I can see it and reblog it. You can also send your drawing to me as a submission, or dm it to your recipient. If you choose to do the latter you must send me a dm informing me of it.
