Day 30 of 30 for @clovercrafted's Summer Fun Event: Treehouse
Is it still a treehouse if it's built in the roots instead of the branches?

Clovercrafted’s summer fun build event!
Excited for some fun in the (virtual) sun? Ready to get your little gaming mitts on the new 1.20 blocks but just don’t know where to start? We’ll look no further because I have you sorted!
The Summer Fun Build Event will be running from June 1st to June 30Th! So that’s 30 prompts filled with sun, sea and sand*!
* may not contain any sun, sea or sand
So grab your blocks, your pickaxes and assorted tools and get crafting!
So how does this thing work?
Simple! Your build 30 builds over 30 days each one corresponding to the given theme for that day. You can skip days if you have to, do them out of order or even forget this even exists and do it 5 months later! There’s no real rules since this is just for fun!
Wait so this is just Minecraft?
That’s the intention but I’ve seen people do stuff with The Sims as well so if you can pull that off, by all means, I’m not gonna stop you!
Cool, can I use creative/mods/texture packs/whatever?
Yeah sure! How you do this is up to you! Mod it until it breaks or your pc sets itself on fire! Mmmm immersive summer heat
Okay I think I know what I’m doing…
Lovely! Feel free to tag me @clovercrafted in your builds and don’t forget the hashtag #cloverssummerfun23 so others can find your stuff! Feel free to reblog and spread this around even if you don’t wanna join in! 💖

Days 10, 26, 29 of 30 for @clovercrafted 's Summer Fun Event: By the Sea, Bamboo, Port
There's an old fisherman who lives in this cabin by the sea. He built it high on stilts to stay safe from the changing tides and waves, but when the water's calm, he goes out on his bamboo raft to enjoy the cool, salty air.
For this build, I really wanted to incorporate the quirks of the generated terrain - I built a bridge over a river, used bamboo stalks as supports, and put a hut in a nearby jungle tree, among other things. I think it brings a kind of life and belonging to the build.

Days 3, 9 for @clovercrafted’s Summer Fun Event: Sunflower, Farm
Thank goodness I love math, because this build required so much geometry I was dreaming about circles! I had a blast building this sunflower wheat farm, and I love how it came together - maybe one day I'll add even more to the build, like a barn and farmhouse.

Days 5-6 of 30 for @clovercrafted’s Summer Fun Event: Pink, Greenhouse
I spent a lot of time deciding how I wanted to build this greenhouse, but I decided to settle on a style similar to the one I used in my survival castle. I've never worked with this many pink blocks before, but I'm really happy with how this build turned out, even without using shaders for pictures!

Days 8, 12, 13 of 30 for @clovercrafted’s Summer Fun Event: Orange, Green, Aquarium
This lush aquarium is encapsulated within a water droplet - it features coral, hydrothermal vents, tropical fish, glow squids, and even an acacia shipwreck!

Days 11, 15 of 30 for @clovercrafted’s Summer Fun Event: Blooming, New Growth
As simple as this build looks, I agonized over the structure of the cherry tree. Also, I replaced every block of dirt and grass in the frame with cyan terracotta and dead coral fans to emulate a wasteland - I really wanted the cherry tree and its falling petals to stand out against the background.

Days 2, 19, 28 for @clovercrafted’s Summer Fun Event: Ice Cream, Bumblebee, Meadow
When life gives you an ice cream sandwich monolith, you uh... turn it into a giant beehive?

Days 7, 17, 18 for @clovercrafted’s Summer Fun Event: Cake, Wedding, Cherry Blossoms
Coincidentally, there are a couple of weddings in my family this year, so it was apt for me to design a wedding cake for this building challenge! I decided to center the cake around a cherry blossom theme given the prompt, and found that cherry blossom leaves and wood look gorgeous as decorative icing - even using a cherry tree as the cake topper!
This build was ENORMOUS and took me a while to finish, but I think the final look is quite elegant. Wish I could have a slice!
