oh, wow, okay. I think s8 is easily my new favorite of the whole series. I am so dead serious when I say there is not a SINGLE episode that didn't have my attention the whole time

like, you lot know how I feel about s1 (never stfu about it, actually LOL). but man. even during my s1 rewatches there are episodes I'll happily skip if I don't feel like watching them, but I can't even imagine being able to do that with s8. it's just so good!!!

plus the special that's after! GOD the paper crowns made a threat on my life. his begging her to go with him, the cheek kiss. the hug!!! him saying he'll hold her hand but that is IT. and her SMILEEEEEE. I'm obsessed with rose tyler's smile but clara certainly gives her a run for her money xD

danny was certainly a heartbreak I didn't expect either! I really grew to care about him and clara, which surprises me since I usually do not gaf about relationships outside of the doctor's, but seeing him hurt!!! good hurt, but still hurt

anyways, I'm sooo excited for s9 to see if it'll be as spectacular as s8
