more cars!
first up is my fifth (!!!) Honda Civic, this being another Honda Civic Custom like the red one I have had for a while.
I like white cars a lot, I feel like it really compliments the car's design and the livery itself is pretty fun. definitely a good one to have, I'm glad I found it.
next up is another Honda just because. it's the '88 Honda CR-X, a car I know jack shit about but do think it looks cool as hell. beautiful color, good shape. a very satisfying model to own.
it kind of looks like a Corolla to me. is that weird? I like the yellow wheel rims a lot.
Mazda 787B! about time I got another Mazda. as I've said before, I don't really like Mazda as much as every other japanese brand I talk about. I just think their models are a bit low priority. none of them I have any history with and none of their designs super call to me.
but that's about the street sports car types! this baby was in Le Mans! I ADORE this shape. I was actually looking to get this one online weeks ago, though the blue version was what I had my eyes on. I am glad to have more pro racing stuff in my collection.
AND THIS! PORSCHE 911 CARRERA RS 2.7 THAT I FOUND IN THE CONVENIENCE STORE. it was like 20 bucks cheaper than how you find it online. god what a gorgeous baby it is. it's my first Porsche! (well, besides a mostly unbuilt model kit that I don't know if I will work on more because jesus fuck I was not prepared)
I love this shape and this color and this livery. what a lucky find. it was the only one there at the store, and I nearly ignored it, because I found it on the way out!
very cool :) the vendor at the toy store today asked if my collection was big at this point, because it's like the fifth time this year I buy cars there. yeah! it's pretty big!
I also found a Nissan Z at the store that I thought of getting but. ehhhh I can get it later. it was pretty gorgeous though. red and black.

oh yeah I meant to show my cars
I asked what they had of Hondas so that's what I brought home. this is a Honda NSX, which isn't a car I see much of nor does its design particularly stand out compared to its competitors but it's still really neat
this is the Honda City Turbo II, a car that I don't know much about but I mean look at it
both the NSX and the City are Premium Hot Wheels, which means they have a bit more detail and weight than regular models and they have rubber tires, which is really good
Toyota MR2!! I fucking love this thing. this one isn't a Hot Wheels though, it's actually a Matchbox! my very first of the brand. haven't noticed much different because I haven't played around with these yet, but hey, great car!

we found a '73 Civic Custom! very excited for this one I almost bought it online but guess I won't have to anymore ^^
Nissan Maxima Drift...? very interesting. LOVE the hood detailing.
this gold-ish Batmobile is really nice. I generally get at least one color of every Batmobile I find. didn't have this one yet so it's gotta come with me of course
Volvo P1800 Gasser! VERY cool! the front axle is so tall... it's not a working suspension or anything, it's just tall. but it's part of the Legends Tour line, which is cool
very cool very nice. super glad about the Civic but everything else is neat :)

oh yeah, I didn't show the Tomica out of the box.
it's a Honda Civic Type R, specifically based on the sixth generation of the Type R, which was introduced in 2022. this means I have four separate Type R generations! neat!
you can tell better the difference between this gen and the previous because of the rear lights.
(Hot Wheels of the 2017-2022 fifth gen Type R above for comparison)
neat detailing!
very satisfying shape.
also working suspension! very neat car, again I adore how Tomica makes these. definitely want more of them, but it's not cheap!

the civic is such a cool car, immensely powerful and it’s known pretty internationally so it’s easy to make jokes about it
generally in the english side of the internet it’s hard to relate to jokes about specific cars because it’s either american road cars or super cars. and see, countries have different cars on the road. so I inherently don’t get the dodge ram jokes the same way as you do. and you won’t get it if I make a bunch of jokes about the fiat palio or something.
but we all have the honda civic. and for some reason, someone will run people over with her honda civic 2004 because she’s a gemini. and I am a gemini. so get in the civic, let’s ride around town! no I don’t have a license yet

colour palletes?
hmmm color palletes are easy because I already dress myself based on colors irl. default color is pink shirt with blue jeans and green shoes, and then every other color is like... white with red, green with red, red with green, pink with red, white with black, red with black, etc etc.
but on special moves or even just a general moveset this is pretty difficult to think about. I think I'm at my most trustworthy without any weapons, and I'm very directly confrontational and try to be fast instead of thoughtful (though my personality might not match this to some)
but like, whatever, super special moves include sitting down to play ridge racer and then beating my opponent with the tv once I win in the game, picking the opponent up, spinning them and throwing them into a bomb like mario 64 and summoning a sword with a car engine attached to it and hitting it so hard that everything explodes.

finally with enough money to BUY a car instead of using prize cars, I got this Civic Type R and completely stock it vibrates my controller so much. I LOVE this thing's engine. I did lose the race I was doing though so obviously I need some tuning.
