Iida city has stunning ancient edo-higan cherry trees and I think just going to see them is worth the visit. This throwback is a weeping cherry tree at Zosenji Temple in Iida City, Nagano Prefecture. The tree is estimated to be 300 years old, 18m tall, and 4m trunk circumference.
