What do we have now SUNbeam?, LIGHTleap? What is this Weenie Hut Jr’s ThunderClan 3 (cause SkyClan was already ThunderClan 2) nonsense?

Raggedrose is as mean, sassy, and violent as you’d want any classic Old Forest ShadowClan cat to be! (She's basically Russetfur 2).

Meet the OCs:

Burning Tree (they/them) - @skyyclan

Burning Tree is from Skyclan in Ancient Times, before many modern codes existed and not long after the original leaders founded the clans. Growing up, their parents had a very strained relationship (mother yearned for adventure and dad was pretty absent) and their grandmother was abusive, particularly to their sister who acted out often due to neglect. Burning ended up reacting to their neglect by being apathetic for most of their childhood, but around the time they became a warrior, many terrible things happened to the clans (an important cat in their clan died, their dad publicly disowned his family at a gathering, and Thunderclan and Windclan were taken over by a tyrant medicine cat)... they decided they wanted things to be better, to be the good they wanted to see in the world. Currently, they're a respected member of their clan, having worked hard to improve themself, and are dealing with newfound drama. Their father has returned to the clans after disappearing for moons... only to join Thunderclan, with an ex-mate running after him to try and force him to raise his kits... Skyclan didn't give him a the chance, taking them in and Burning Tree taking it upon themself to raise their half-siblings with the help of their clanmates. Only, tragedy struck, and one of the two kittens are found murdered. Luckily, they've hunted down the taken revenge on this murderer, but they seemed to be part of a group either run by or inspired by the previously mentioned medicine cat tyrant... so now they must do what they can to keep their remaning kit safe while Skyclan attempts to unite the clans against this threat. (story is a wip because they're part of an rp group!)

Redwood (he/him) - @twistedtoms

He's just essentially an eyeless wind clan cat who likes to play clan jester and likes bugs! Silly little guy with the early 2000's warriors fandom vibes

Softstep (she/they) - @murkshade

Softstep is a founding warrior of Cragclan, and has lately become a member of a coup d’état against their own leadership. After their clan parted with their original group, Meadowclan, she had to leave her two kits behind as they were two young and sickly to make the move. Now that they have grown stronger and time has passed, Meadowclan has refused to return the kits, and so she and her partners have rebelled against their leader, Brightstar, who refuses to take a stand against their original group.

Softstep (she/they) - @murkshade

Softstep is a founding warrior of Cragclan, and has lately become a member of a coup d’état against their own leadership. After their clan parted with their original group, Meadowclan, she had to leave her two kits behind as they were two young and sickly to make the move. Now that they have grown stronger and time has passed, Meadowclan has refused to return the kits, and so she and her partners have rebelled against their leader, Brightstar, who refuses to take a stand against their original group.

While she was originally supporting one of her partners as the leader candidate, most cats have come to realize she is likely the better candidate. Though she refuses to acknowledge it

Antspiral (she/xe) - @hlessii

Antspiral has been in 3 different clans. She was born in Shadowclan, became a Crownclan warrior, and after a lot of very confusing events she finds herself in Windclan after spending countless moons in the dark forest.

She was raised by the leader and deputy of Crownclan (a horrible awful clan that is very much a cult) and became one of their most dedicated warriors. Xe was very willing to kill for xer fathers, and honestly xe probably did at least once.

After war breaks out between Crownclan and a band of rebels, Antspiral dies in a fight she started with her biological mother, Batbite, and finds herself in the dark forest. All alone.

Slatewind (she/her) - @icyrose-cat

A simple Pebbleclan warrior who doesn't want anything more. She is part of a prophecy involving her destroying another clan though... After a series of horrible, horrible decisions (one of them killing her nephew who decided he wanted revenge), Starclan traps her into a timeloop to force her to complete the prophecy, but not telling her anything on how to do that, basically leaving her to quite literally fuck around and find out.

Troutfur is a RiverClan warrior who previously trained as a meddie apprentice. He switched upon losing his faith in StarClan as the thought of being his Clan's spiritual authority without believing made him really uncomfortable and dishonest. He's happier now though, fishing and swimming to his heart's content. From time to time he still helps his former mentor Iciclenose and her new apprentice Yewpaw with simple chores or as an escort for herb gathering.

Redteeth (she/her) - @roakkaliha

Redteeth is a Cliffclan warrior, and the supposed prophecy cat that will save the clans and revitalize the valley. The knowledge of Starclan's plan for her has left her with a deep need to be the best, afraid that being anything less than that will result in failure and the destruction of the clans. Alongside that, she struggles with the contradicting ideals of her mentor and leader, one telling her that Starclan wants her to unite clans and the other that Starclan wants her to establish Cliffclan's superiority by tearing apart whoever's behind the clan's struggles. She has never been directly spoken to by Starclan, making her question her ancestors' motives behind making her the hero of the valley, and perhaps even a bit bitter....

Raggedrose (she/her) - @runn1ngn0se

Raggedrose (She/Her) is a former rouge turned Shadowclan warrior. Having always been scrappy, loud-mouthed, and twitching for a fight, she learned very young she was destined meet a bloody and gruelsome death. On the streets of twolegplace though, the only thing a cat can die for is another day's scraps of twoleg food, so when she heard rumors of the clans she sought out to prove herself worthy of joining. If she was going to die, she might as well find a family and a cause worth dying for.

Basilchime (they/xe) - @booksofstars

A kind, somber cat with a terrible past in OilClan. Once a kittypet, xe left their home to be with their now former mate, Shatteredpetal. They adopted a kit together, with Basilchime doting on their little daughter endlessly. But through Shatteredpetal’s increasingly violent treatment of xer, it wasn’t long before xe fled the Clan, taking their kit with them. The altercation between the two would take not only xer leg, but their ability to see their beloved daughter. Though they reside peacefully in GoldenClan, xer past will forever trouble them.

Fogpaw (he/they) - @ratvich (img by @/roakkaliha)

A fun-loving, bouncy apprentice from Glacierclan! Armed with his harsh take on justice and a somewhat unwilling accomplice, he's responsible for a string of murders — don't worry though, he'd never hurt his own clanmates! It's only those pesky trespassers that deserve it. The majority of Glacierclan's apprentices seem to know he's up to something, and it's only by the mercy of Glacierclan's resident junior detective (and his own threats towards the others) that his secret isn't spilled. Not that it mattered too much anyways — their secret followed them to their grave as they bled out on the battlefield alongside their brother. In their final moments, they told their brother they'd see him later, but we all know their ass is NOT seeing the pearly gates of Starclan !!!!!

Meet the OCs:

Cricketleap (he/him) - @disgruntleddemon

Cricketleap was a shadowclan warrior, now turned medcat. Back when he was a warrior, he was very close with his mate, Batflight. They were kind of a goofy couple, Batflight quiet and stoic, while Cricketleap was loud and lazy.

Batflight ends up dying in a border skirmish, and Cricketleap is devastated. But at the vigil, he gets an idea. He decides to become a medcat to be with his mate again.

He starts his training, both excited and terrified. Starclan could end up rejecting him. After all, his reasoning for becoming a medcat was basically breaking the code.

Cricketleap's first moonpool visit comes around. He touches the moonpool, and awakens in starclan, face to face with Batflight. Even though Batflight scolds him for being impulsive, he's just as overjoyed as Cricketleap at being reunited. From then on out they function like a long distance couple, meeting in moonpool visits and occasional dreams. Even if it's less than ideal, they're honestly just happy to be together again. <33

Icarus (he/him) - @sp1resong

he's transgender. he's being consumed by the rot. he's deeply traumatized. he's autistic. he's full of tragedy. he has fire imagery. he's an amalgamation of every character i've fixated on. what's not to love

he's a loner, formerly a RotClan warrior named Waxwing (wheatley, resident library cat + nerd, suggested the new name because he thought it was funny). He vanished following an unknown incident, wherein his best friend Copperflight vanished and he himself was badly injured. He was assumed dead by RotClan due to the extent of his injuries, but clearly he fucking isn't! he will appear as a pov character throughout the later acts of my comic, @thepoisonbeneath
