thoughts on the CGI heman
okay i binged the CGI heman.
and i loved it. yes, its a different take but if you are one who didn’t like revaltions i suggest you give this one a shot. the visuals and voice acting is outstanding. and i’m not sure but beastman’s normal form reminds me of a thundercat.
there’s even this lil easter egg when skeletor talks to heman thru a microphone in snake mountain. i felt that was a nod to the mic-feature in the playset. i also like the fact adam came from a tribe which kinda-sorta is a homage to his original origins before filmation made him a prince.
seriously though the characters are likeable (duncan is kinda meh though)
and uh,... yeah. i love it. it has action, adventure, and i kinda ship ram ma’am with heman (i know, i’m an old school adam and teela but ehhh.)
all in all i admit, i enjoyed it more than revelations. the story is solid and the animation is pretty damn good. i love it so far.
i just hope we get more characters in season 2 like strados, man-e-faces, clamp-champ, buzzoff, tri-klops, clawful merman.
