Here ya go! My CDDWTD Characters and a very simplified chart of their relationships, plus a chart with @popfizzles Cuppatrouble AU (don't think too hard about the logic behind it all, lets say cartoon logic).

I want to clarify just in case, that my way of seeing the characters is based on the Cuphead game and not the cartoon. I take inspiration from the cartoon here and there for details but I am going of the game since thats how I got into back when the game came out.

Also I added Copper (the police officer for those who dont know him) just because he is just an antagonist for when I need a dumb, annoying character, and I got no interest in developing him further.

And that's it I think? I had fun doing this and might add and edit as time passes, hopefully this helps everyone, myself included with my mess of CDDWTD.

Did you ever come up with halloween costumes for Val and Boba?

I did, but I never finished the art!!

I put Val in a cute little demon costume with a horn headband, and I made Boba a mad scientist :)

I absolutely understand the message at hand is "Don't be weird, creepy, overly friendly with people you don't know (this includes my ocs) as you simply do not do that with strangers" however I'm delighted to know Val is such a die hard team player in terms of the type of person seeing someone struggle in public or misreading/reading into possible signals of "Get me the hell out of here" from strangers and cracks her knuckles and charges into battle so to speak anyways I wish her the best

Thought about mixing in more pinks to Boba's design so he looks like they belong next to Val but.

I prefer the original much more? Maybe the red browns are just pink enough? much to think about...

I DO like making them slender with long angles compared to Val's round short and chubby shapes :)

Holdonholdon. So does Red have to drink alcohol to keep himself full, or can he drink whatever? If it's the former, does it affect him? :0

I think a common misconception would be that cup toons only consume the kind of liquid they normally hold.

Drinking daily water and regularly consuming varied foods doesn't make much of a change in their appearance. But, drinking lots and lots of one single thing CAN make a change!

I've done a few arts of Val changing what kind of drink is in her head; see these examples of Val as a hot cocoa and a rose champagne!

But things get a little more complicated with transparent cups like Boba and Mojito.

Since Boba is clear plastic and Mojito is glass, you can see right through them! Which means that drinking too much of one thing can make a HUGE change to their palette and appearance;

So transparent cups try to stick to what they know, to keep them looking familiar!

You can also notice that Mojito's "skin" is much thicker than Boba's, which means Mojito could probably get some carvings or decorations in place of tattoos!
