On 18th November 2022, Formula One announced the racing series F1 Academy.
F1 Academy has been created for the focus of helping young women to climb up the levels of racing. The series is to help the transition from karting to single seater racing easier for women.

― THE SHORT HISTORY OF VALERIA
Growing up in East LA, Valeria Sofía Ortiz hasn’t always had it easy.
With her mother leaving her at a young age, Valeria and her father had to fend for themselves early on. Her father, Alvaro Hernández Ortiz, only wanted the best life he could afford for his little angel, so he said goodbye to the gang life and opened up a mechanics shop.
Valeria developed an interest in the art of cars while helping out in her father’s shop and quickly found herself drawn to everything surrounding it. Noticing his daughter’s curiosity, Alvaro decided to bring her out on the karting track for fun. However, he was surprised to find Valeria driving around the track in top speed and condition.
After that, he gave it his all to ensure his daughter’s return and started scavenging the scrap yards for kart parts while Valeria went around doing mini jobs, like lawn-mowing, to earn extra money to afford karting.
Facing a lot of issues as she climbed up the karting ladder, Valeria never backed down from a fight and oftentimes got into trouble because of it. But that didn’t stop her from dominating the track, gaining lots of attention from the media and the motorsport.
That’s when Toto Wolff noticed the girl, travelling to LA to check out the young racer and realising what potential she held. Becoming part of the Mercedes Junior Team, more and more opportunities opened up for Valeria as she entered the Formula world.
As she drove her way through Formula 3 and 2, she eventually got offered a seat at the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team alongside 7x world champion, Lewis Hamilton.
Navigating her life as one of the top 20 drivers of the world, Valeria is met with new challenges and obstacles being thrown at her…

Warnings: None that I can see.
Notes: This isn't a SMAU (sorry). Also this could be added to/altered. And I hope to put out the next chapter pretty soon...
Also!!! I got way too far into writing this before finding out that a driver can only win F2 once (or rather after they win it, they can't return)....so for my own sanity, that rule doesn't exist or if it does then it came into place after Y/N won 5 championships😅

2012- Age 11
Y/N Signed with Red Bull Racing for them to sponsor her in her karting career. This was a part of the Red Bull Recruiting Scheme (RBRS).
2017- Age 16
Y/N becomes the first woman to race in The F3 European Championship. She goes on to come second in the drivers championship.
2018- Age 17
Y/N meets F3 rookie Oscar Piastri and the two become friends (they still are to this day). She wins the F3 championship and recieves an offer to move up the ranks and into Formula 2. She runs into Logan Sargeant, he asks her out and the two start dating yet don't tell a soul.
2019- Age 18
Y/L/N Moves Up to Formula 2 into the newly established Red Bull Racing Formula 2 Team. The RBRS terminates any connection with lower leagues of racing but establishes a Formula 2 team. Y/L/N is the first woman to ever enter F2. She also signs as Red Bull's F1 reserve driver. Y/N even stood in for (and came 3rd in) a race after Pierre Gasly became extremely ill. This makes her the first woman to ever get on the podium in an F1 race and also one of the youngest drivers to ever start a race.
Y/N meets driver Mick Schumacher and the two become good friends despite their different teams. Y/N went on to come second in the championship, narrowly missing Nyck de Vries for points. She is also awarded the Anthoine Hubert award.
2020- Age 19
Y/N once again, comes runner up in the Formula 2 championship by loosing to her good friend Mick Schumacher by a few points.
Red Bull Racing renew a contract for the next 2 years to be a team in Formula 2 and they sign Y/N's new teammate, Liam Lawson. Y/N continues to race for them and for the third year in a row, she comes second in the Formula 2 championship due to a technically issue with the car causing her to DNF (huge scandal in the F2 world). The media also sees Y/L/N "meeting" rookie Logan Sargeant and the pair become extremely close...
2021- Age 20
2022- Age 21
Liam Lawson swaps teams to race for Carlin with Logan Sargeant. Y/L/N once again comes second in the F2 championship. People are confused by her lack of wins or lack of moving to other motorsports categories (especially with her F1 podium in the past). Y/L/N is unable to win due to the amount of races and points missed by driving in F1 (as a reserve driver). She does however score many more points and podiums in F1.
2023- Age 22
In mid December, Y/N receives a call from Aston Martin F1 executives. They invite her to have a meeting about possibly racing for them that year. Y/N goes to the meeting and leaves having signed for Aston Martin Aramco F1 team for the 2024 season. This is because Lance Stroll dropped out for undisclosed "personal reasons"
Y/N meets Arthur Leclerc. The pair become very good friends - this is aided by Logan Sargeant and Oscar Piastri's Formula 1 debuts and subsequent exits from the F2 scene. Y/N wins the F2 championship finally, making history for women in motorsport. Not long after, Red Bull announces the retirement of their RBRS programme and they pull out of junior motorsports to "focus on the current success of [their] Formula 1 team"
2024- Age 22 (not yet 23)
It is publicly announced that Y/N Y/L/N is replacing Lance Stroll to race at Aston Martin for the 2024 season...

ARTICLE: "Monegasque prodigy Leclerc secures FIA F3 seat with Van Amersfoort" (Formula Scout, 2015)

Charles Leclerc will contest the 2015 FIA European F3 Championship with Van Amersfoort Racing.
The 17-year-old driver won numerous high-profile trophies throughout his karting career, including the WSK Euro Series KF2, the CIK-FIA Academy Trophy and the CIK-FIA KF3 World Cup.
He entered Formula Renault Alps for his car racing debut in 2014 and finished second behind the experienced Nyck de Vries, collecting two Monza victories in the process. Meanwhile, guest appearances in the Eurocup saw him achieve three runner-up finishes in a row.
Originally tipped for a full-time Eurocup promotion, Leclerc ended up focusing on F3 during the pre-season, testing with Prema Powerteam, Fortec Motorsports, Carlin and Van Amersfoort Racing before ultimately signing with the latter.
“I’m very happy to join Van Amersfoort Racing and the highly rated FIA F3 European Championship for this season,” stated Leclerc. “The team and I have an exciting challenge ahead of us. Following the test I did last December in Valencia, I really look foward to working with such an experienced and successful squad.”
“The FIA F3 European Championship produced great champions in the past, so i think it’s the best place for me to keep growing as a driver.”
The Dutch team had a strong season in the championship last year, playing a big part in Max Verstappen’s headline-grabbing debut season in cars.
“It is our privilege to welcome Charles at our team,” reckoned Frits van Amersfoort. “He impressed us with his performance in karting and in the ALPS championship, by securing the vice-championship in his first year in single-seaters at just 17.”
“Charles has the raw speed and race craft to play a prominent role in the FIA F3 European Championship. It is our challenge to give him the tools to be successful from the very beginning.”
Karting star Alessio Lorandi has been strongly linked to join Leclerc in the squad. Van Amersfoort Racing is expected to field up to four cars in 2015, but the names of the remaining drivers are yet unknown.

So, she’s basically sponsored by McLaren but she will be racing for ART
The way it works in F1 Academy is, there are five teams; ART Grand Prix, Campos Racing, MP Motorsport, PREMA Racing and Rodin Carlin and each team will run 3 cars, so 15 drivers total on the grid
Of those 15 drivers; 10 will be sponsored by F1 teams
So her car will be run by ART, but it will be liveried like a McLaren

The success behind the PREMA brand — Arinalysis
PREMA is famous for signing young talented drivers, good championship winning cars, has one hell of a legacy, competed in lots of series, and lots of junior teams put their driver on PREMA for feeder series drives.
They are popular as lots of their talents (past and present) are junior drivers for an F1 team (e.g. Charles Leclerc, Esteban Ocon, Oscar Piastri, Mick Schumacher, Oliver Bearman, Kimi Antonelli, Frederik Vesti, Dennis Hauger, etc). But that's not the sole reason as to why they're popular (in my belief at the very least)
PREMA's PR are crazy good with all the contents they've made
People like social interaction and they like when two of the people they like interact with each other. And that's what PREMA did in these videos.
They made their drivers across every series interact and mingle with each other in these videos, showing the fans the "family" vibe of the team instead of the classic old rivalry vibes. Some drivers are actually very close to each other or become close to each other in the process of this content making. The fans who enjoyed these videos will crave and look up more for their interaction, on-cam and off-cam and eventually they'll make tweets, posts and shows more support that is not only reserved for the driver but also to the TEAM which they now view as "family"
Not only is it about youtube/video related content, the visual content or the photo content that PREMA provides also supports these reasonings
These pics scream "FAMILY" and "WE'RE CLOSE" vibes and it's not the type of professionally close. PREMA is so good at bonding these drivers (and staff) to get to know each other and exude these friendly vibes. It became a heartwarming thing that fans like. "In the harsh world of competitive motorsports, we have this one big circle of comfort and friendliness" kind of heartwarming
Social media wise... they had a great content planning and social media management
Which definitely, looking at how other teams are trying to do similar PR like PREMA, shows that they are probably the one who initiates this kind of PR move first amongst other feeders teams (ART, Invicta, Carlin, DAMS, Trident, MP, PHM, etc) or probably the other teams did not invest a lot in these things due to different ideals (more serious/professional) or lack of human resources to do these things.
But yeah these things are part of the things that made PREMA stand out a lot from other feeder series teams and became one of the top names as of now

2024 engine limit is now set on 3 power units for the whole season (it was 4 last season with less races)
Monza is doing track and circuit infrastructure repairs and improvements as part of the effort to keep the track on the calendar after 2025 when their current contract expires
Mahindra in Formula E made an AI Ambassador????? Icky.
Sauber academy (so Stake / Kick / Alfa Romeo) hires Carrie Schreiner for F1 Academy (it's her last chance at 25 because the series is for 16-25 years old)
Rodin Carlin changes name to Rodin Motorsport after Trevis Carlin left
Haas' technical director Simone Resta is leaving the team after disagreement with Gene Haas, he is speculated to join Ferrari or Audi (and there's a rumour that Steiner may be fired because his name no longer appears on the website of the team)
Las Vegas organizers named the pit building Grand Prix Plaza (if you wanna know more about why it's isn't called paddock like at other venues, head over here) and they will make the building permanent all year round as official US HQ
McLaren partnered with Alpinestars for race wear sponsorship deal

As for the rumours there are always some about Ferrari (that they found 30 downforce points, that they will be 7 tenths quicker in race pace, that Carlos' management is lying about his pre contracts with other teams to try to get one from ferrari), about Angela Cullen (potentially coming back because of some post on social media where she "hinted at it") and about McLaren (that they CFD and windtunnel data look great)
