i try to watch anime casually and my brain is like bestie do you want to see how quickly i can pinpoint this one’s primary narrative flaw
#i am So Annoying#this is the only way my brain knows how to have fun#to be clear i do this with most kind of content i consume#but anime is really fun because it’s so tropey#and so many fall into tropes and fail to address simple elements that would improve overall narrative structure and balance#which doesn’t make it BAD or anything but it DOES make it fun to analyze#and it’s like my fav thing to do#and also the one thing i really try to never post about lol#was rewatching a fav from back in the day recently#from before i was annoying#and my brain just went oh?👀#animes: happily existing#me: show me your fatal flaw rn👁️👄👁️#can you tell people always used to tell me im suited to editorial work🙃#the only way i know how to like things is by lovingly tearing them to shreds via my critique
