I know I’d heard the band name somewhere before (honestly I might have gotten them mixed up in my head with Campag Velocet of all people, anyone else reading the NME in 1999?), but I knew basically nothing about them. So when I read some blurb somewhere that made them sound like hidden titans of noiserock improv jams, I didn’t actually queue up the sizable compilation of their recorded output really expecting to be blown away (there’s another one that’s mostly live from 2015, if you’re interested). And yet and yet... let’s just say this lived up to the hype of the description on bandcamp (et al) for me.

Unfortunately there isn't much tournaments going on for this game mode. You can get into action more quickly than standard random map games. This game mode is very similar to Starcraft. Personally I think this game mode is interesting and very underrated. Hope this discussion thread will give some interesting insights. I created this thread because I didn't saw a discussion thread here. Some maps may have variations on the Empire Wars mode, to fit their different starting conditions.Players have less starting sheep and no wild boars.To offset Mayan and Chinese bonuses, they don’t receive extra villagers, but also don’t start with less resources than other civilizations.Economy balanced around expanding your empire quickly.Barracks & Blacksmith available, as well as gathering points for all resources.Empire Wars is available on all maps included with Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, although your starting town may depend on the map. Economic buildings and a Barracks are also provided to help you build up through the early stages of the game. All players start in the Feudal Age, with 27 villagers already working farms, chopping trees and mining gold. In the past, Microsoft has promoted its own championships, just as World Cyber Games has included the game in some of its editions, but people around the world on their own have organized major tournaments to foster the competitive scene and reward the best players and teams.Empire Wars is a new game mode, exclusively introduced into Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition! In Empire Wars, players start with a small town and economy. The competitive scene of the game has existed since its early years, with the support of large companies and organizations, and with the important participation of its community, and continues to the present day. It also includes all previous expansions from the original and HD edition. It features significantly improved visuals, supports 4K resolution, a new single player campaign and four new civilisations. The game was developed by Forgotten Empires, Tantalus Media and Wicked Witch and published by Xbox Game Studios. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the original game, Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition (AoE2DE) was released on November 15, 2019. All expansions introuced new civilizations, maps, campagings, units, game mode and numerous balance and gameplay adjustments. The first one was based on the fan-made expansion, The Forgotten Empires. Dans Lacrimosa, si Guenièvre avait versé moins de potion dans la tisane d'Arthur, ils auraient peut-être conclu au final, sauf qu'elle a pas assez confiance en elle et en rajoute quand Démétra lui dit qu'il faut qu'elle joue sur son animalité etc etc. Tout ça pour dire que si Guenièvre avait eu plus confiance en elle, ben ça aurait peut-être évité tout plein de problèmes...
