so, I just watched s5 and I wanna say it's been a pleasure waiting the ending with yall.
Either way it was great (even if we didn't get benrius as we wished) but Yassamy cannon. 馃嵕馃挜馃コ
I'm kinda mad about how they put Ben and Darius apart even tho their bond was one of the strongest on the group.
Now, I've made a list of the things I'd thought it was gonna happen this season, and I got most of the things right (let's goo).
Still sad about benrius tho, the creators rly got me hoping, also I feel like when Yas came out to Ben, a lot of his scenes of them could've been used better. Like I understand she need Ben there to talk but I feel like it was a opportunity to open Ben's character too. (I felt like he was really put aside)
I feel like his character could've be a bit more explored as Yas opened up to him (and not just giving advice like he knows it all, boy had a huge ass gay fight with Darius on s3 and now he be giving advice like he's mister Miyagi or something).
Also I'm not saying Yas coming out scenes should be about Ben, just saying they could've used the moment to open and explore more of both characters
Yassamy was one of the things we predicted on my list, IT WAS ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE, how we feeling tonight? Fking great.
Also, the ending, their designs, I'm OBSESSED but Ben darling, god may forgive you for being gay but no one is gonna forgive you for that haircut. (still love him tho)

Yasammy is gonna become cannon on S5 and so it's Benrius.
Brook and Kenji are gonna break up because of Kenji's doubts about his father and mantacorp.
Ben and Darius are gonna have a heart to heart.
Brook and Kenji are gonna get together on the end of the season after he decides to help defeat his own father.
The camp monitors are gonna help darius's brother to find them.
Darius is gonna feel a huge guilt after they are "captured", Darius is going to have nightmares and Ben is gonna be the one to confort him.
Sammy and Yas are going to help each other heal from their trauma.
Brook is gonna distance herself from the group after she breaks up with Kenji.
The monitors and darius's brother is gonna be their escape from the island.

Benji would be a good shipp if the people discovering the show weren't people that came to watch because some edit on tiktok and came expecting a BL.
As a gay latino man yall don't how much I'm tired of the same stereotype of ever, its the same over over again. Let the new show break it! Chucky had a teen gay protagonist with an actual poc love interest, Shera is amazing wlw and poc rep, bruh even Steven Universe.

Okay but can we talk about how gay the boat scene (the one that Ben makes the decision to leave the island with the group) is, like we get a shot from Darius, Brook, Yas and Sammy looking at him while they drive away, then a shot of only Darius literally putting all hope that Ben is gonna come with them, then Ben swims to the boat and we get a EYE TO EYE SHOT between Ben and Darius while Darius help him get up to the boat like I was not the only who noticed it right? That was the moment when I said "Oh shit are they really going to make it endgame?" I was in a state of gay disbelief ngl
