Leo Choi was too proud to ask for help, let alone admit defeat. The Mechanic was ambitious, determined when it came to just about everything, putting 110% into his new business ventures, the garage, his budding relationship with his son, understanding co-parenting with Ilia and relationship with his redhead vixen. But despite it all, he could be arrogant, distracted and thoughtless when it came to understanding how much each took away from the others. And admittedly, things that should’ve been at the top of his priority list had fallen through the cracks, plummeting in ranking until they sat far lower than they ever should’ve been.
Most days, Leo spent most of his waking hours at the garage, working on jobs that came in and staying late to plow through the mountain of paperwork on his desk. When he got home, he was either catching up on sleep or playing with his son, who was at the age where everything was funny and Dad was the coolest person in the world. And somewhere between work and adjusting to becoming a father, he’d but his relationship with Peyton on the back-burner. His reason? He thought she understood he didn’t have as much time as he once did. But now, after slowly pulling away from each other, there was silence when there should’ve been filled with laughter, the sound of sweet kisses or moans of pleasure.
It was late and the town of Peach Hollows had gone to sleep. But still, Leo pulled up to Peytons house on Olive avenue with greasy French fried and milkshakes with the intention of making it up to her, one step at a time. But as he drove through the quite streets, Leo couldn’t help but notice on his way in a familiar truck head in the opposite direction. A truck that surely belonged to his best friend and roommate, Lucas Whittaker.
Three firm knocks signalled his arrival and he shifted his weight from one foot to the other as he waited for the door to open. Questions filled his already exhausted brain but jumping to conclusions would do more harm than good, and he hoped that his eyes ad deceived him.
“Okay, baby I know it’s not red wine and Luigi’s but I asked them to do a fresh batch for us,” Leo bargained, sheepishly holding up the brown paper bag stained with grease. @worlldburn

Leo had been to the Mini Golf Course a total of two times since moving to Peach Hollows; once because his visiting sister had insisted, and once on a date that ended terribly. It was a place kids from the local high-school and Winchester frequented on Friday nights, not the town mechanic and his firecracker girlfriend. But in an effort to make up time missed with Peyton, he was trying to think outside the box. Leo circled around his car and pulled the passenger door open for Peyton, offering her a hand as she got out. He was dressed in something other than his usual uniform of greasy jeans and a black t-shirt, but still looked tiers below Peyton who looked beautiful as ever.
“Winner buys dinner tonight? Don’t worry, P. I’ll go easy on you,” he taunted, a smirk tugging at the edge of his lips as he looked down at her. @peytonainsworth

This is unfair because I have a ton of favorite characters, however, I’ll talk about one. Okay so, Peyton July. It's going to be under the cut because I ended up writing a lot.
I don’t really know how to start talking about Peyton, because she’s this kind of complex character who would literally do anything for her friends and some people who aren’t her friends. When I came up with the idea of Peyton, I was like, oh well she’s going to be flirtatious with everyone and doesn’t give a flying f. Though the more I play her, I ended up pulling back layers and layers to what makes her tick and what makes her Peyton. She’s a firecracker like Cassandra and she makes it where she has this persona of being this person who can’t kick some ass, but in reality, she can and she can literally rip you a new one when she’s in the mood, but she’s also down to earth and is the sweetest person (others might disagree and that’s fine), to a certain point. She’s kind of a character who you want in your corner or she would end up kicking your ass. She works at this burlesque club, where she has this different alias and personality, but she ended up getting close to one of her regulars and it freaked her out. She also owns this flower shop, that she loves dearly and would basically do anything for it. So right now, she’s going through something that makes it her to be like, who do I believe or what do I do because I want to do something, but I know I shouldnt do something because its not my place, but I happen to care about this person.

The door to his sons bedroom shut with a muted click, singling the end of the 5 year olds day and the beginning of Peyton and Leo’s night. The last few weeks of nailing down a schedule and adjusting to new environments had been tough for everyone involved. His ex-girlfriend was struggling with not being in control and Leo was struggling with fatherhood as a whole while also balancing the life he had prior. It was a challenge to say the least, but he was trying his best to make sure everyone he loved was taken care of. Padding down the stairs, he went back to the living room where his redhead girlfriend was waiting curled up on the couch, illuminated only by the light of the television before her.
“My kid snores. Did you know that?” He chuckled quietly before settling back down next to her, pulling her legs over his own. “I didn’t even know five year olds could sleep. But he’s out like a light and now you have my full attention. I promise.” @writtenbyhaley

The bonfire by the lake was the first town events Leo went to when he first moved to Peach Hollows. He remembered hearing whispers about it throughout town, seeing teenagers and adults alike clear the shelves of the liquor store and head to the boutiques along Strawberry for the perfect outfit to wear. Though he never understood why. It was going to be dark anyways. But it was because of all of these combined that a young Leo Choi found himself by the lake nearly five years ago. Since then, he never failed to attend the party, regardless of the fact that he didn't do much but sit by the fire and drink whatever alcoholic concoction was put in his cup. This year was no different.
Leo leaned against the hood of his car and listened to the animated conversations fuelled by alcohol, the makings of bad decisions and the muted bass from a speaker. His mind was going a mile a minute, jumping from Sonny’s situation, an angry Peyton and what else the Peacher had in store for the town. In a way it almost felt wrong for everyone to be out, having a good time when things could go wrong at any second. But he figured it was all the more reason to do it and to make the most out of it.
Looking down at his empty cup, Leo quickly refilled it with a bottle tucked away in his car before starting for the fire. It seemed most of the younger generation of Peach Hollows was out that night, and he expertly weaved through mingling and dancing bodies before finally settling down on a log. His eyes were trained on the fire, but when he heard someone clear their throat from behind him, Leo turned and looked up at them. “Sorry, did I steal your seat?” he asked apologetically. But instead of a friendly face from the crowd, he was met with none other than Peyton Ainsworth.
“Hey,” he replied simply, narrowing his eyebrows at her. “Do you have a deep rooted love for bonfires too?”
