When I saw stills of Becoming Elizabeth, I thought Edward VI was going to be a Joffrey copy and paste. But he's not. He's just a little guy! A little boy who doesn't know how to be king and at first is easily manipulated and who loves his sisters and his doggies and just wants to be loved but also is definitely a brat who's been given power too early and also a product of his upbringing. Just a lil guy who wants to take his c***ing bath
#his characterization is so good#he slooowly grows less trusting and harder to manipulate#by episode 6 he is so worried Elizabeth betrayed him and keeps giving her his own little tests to pass to prove herself#and his hug at the end is what he wants but he now cannot trust fully#it's just very interesting and he is so very little#becoming elizabeth#edward vi#idk anything about history but it's good writing for a fictional character#oliver zetterstrom
