alr so final one about trolls 2 then trolls 3 post coming tmr since I'm gonna pass out to mimimimimi

so poppy wrecks barb's ultimate power chord guitar thing which leads to the strings breaking and the "destruction" of music

two things I wanna point out is barb's language in this scene

when the strings start disintegrating barb rushes to hold them and says this line that holy fucking shit the audacity

"My strings..."

sorry what. YOUR strings?? 😀

let's establish this one more time

each string represents a different style of music, a different culture, a different kind of troll

for barb to call the strings, and not just the hard rock string, HER strings is her appropriating all those different cultures, all those trolls' different lifestyles and identities as her own WHEN IT'S FUCKING NOT

and here's the real kicker folks

since without any strings, music is now "dead" and barb turns to poppy and blames the death of music on her

she blames poppy's act of self defense against barb's attempt to assimilate not just her but all trolls to hard rock's rule

"oh you don't wanna be like me and live like me when I'm forcing you to?? well then you're the bad guy here"

I'm sorry but who has been seeking out all the strings to then weaponize them to turn everyone into rock trolls zombies?? barb.

and then they all sing it out cuz music is in all of us so it cannot die
