Still rotating the changes in the Finrod song order in my head...
#about me#listening to the recorded album then to a current production. im not sure those changes imporved the show#finrod zong#putting all the fëanorion songs in the same place takes a source of the tension out. show up in Nargothrond. sing their songs. disappear#it removes a source of tension from the show#i do think that moving the first song is a good idea. maybe moving it to just before Nargothrond. setting the scene.#then beren show's up talks to finrod C&C force finrod to abdicate. then 2nd C&C song#but putting ненависть immediately after? terrible fucking decision#i haven't actually listened to the rest of the show closely enough to have opinions over the Melian songs#i have latched on to C&C. but still. angery.
