I hate hate hate when authors release new covers of series bc the original covers are literally ALWAYS superior and it’s annoying and the updated covers are usually really basic and it’s sad

#always upset about this!#but particularly rn bc my copies of empire of storms and kingdom of ash have literally disappeared like idek know #no clue #and ofc she changed the covers so I can’t find the hardcover copies of the original covers!!#and my collection is incomplete!#and like I don’t really typically care hardcover v paperback #but I have the rest of the series in hardcover!!#it’s so dumb!#stop ruining good things pls!#books #reading
