I think I'm a really horrible person to know primarily because I think if you actually give a shit about someone you should be willing to fight them. not like physically beat up but like. If you have a disparity of fundamental understanding/belief or someone you care for is saying ignorant shit that can hurt themselves and others you should be willing to press them about where its coming from and get to the actual genuine heart of the issue, not just -Isms and -Obias, but just sociopolitically neutral shithead behavior too. Dropping something like that because it's "upsetting" is like. It'll be real fuck8n upsetting when the consequences of your ignorance hit you in the ass too. The discomfort isn't avoidable, and certainly not by the sort of cowardice that makes you flinch so hard from confrontation that you can't even tell your own thoughts on a matter because you're so concerned what might upset somebody else.
A real friend oughta be able and willing to argue with you when the truth of something matters. Too many people call themselves friends and will just let you wreck yourself and sneer and gasp about it instead of warning you where the fuckin rocks are. If you're wrong you'll save yourself a lot of grief for trusting them and if they're wrong you can set em straight before resentment eats you alive, either way you deserve the truth from each other.
But I know I'm stubborn and things i mean to be direct can come off with more venom than intent and I'll hold on to a hard topic like a dog with a bone and that makes me real hard for most people to get along with. Idk. I think people hear how disagreeable I am and think I'm upset with them or something when really I just feel obligated to speak in earnest with them and not prevaricate.

Why is sexism becoming so mainstream? Why does Andrew Tate have such a large platform? Why is everyone commenting “women ☕️” on every single post? Since when do we accept this behaviour???
And it’s not the only “ism” or “obia” making its way into every day rhetoric…

i get being afraid and insecure and all that especially when it comes to ur safety as a marginalized person... but that doesnt give u the okay to push bigotry onto other groups of ppl. like telling muslim kids they're homophobes for their religion because ur a boring exchristian who perceives all religions as derivatives of ur own bastardized one... or sexist attitudes onto immigrants... like... u jumping down ppls throats about how YOU THINK theyre protectors of some typa -ism or -obia aint cute... it’s always bothered me. especially because most ppl feel like they can talk to certain groups of ppl any which way. like old black ppl arent automatically sexist homophobes or w/e... stop pushing gross narratives onto ppl. stop targeting ppl who dont speak english well, or who are young kids, or old ppl...like... ur not cute.... ur feelings or w/e isnt more important than any other persons. yall wanna get buck find a group of whites and move along.
