#no offense to men first of all.#but ive recently noticed a pattern (happened twice) where i get irritated when i have a friend whos a lesbian who decides to start pursuing#guys and obvi thats their own journey#but i think i have a habit of connecting with gay girls and grow safe in the expectation that i never have to hear about men existing...#and then when a friend is like lemme explore this then its an immediate break of those expectations... and also like. well damn there#really is not a life for me as a wlw if i dont know a single woman who doesnt pursue men eventually ?#double-edged sword?#anyways its really difficult to discuss cause its my feelings in regards to another person's life and journey and quite honestly none of my#business... but i would like to stop feeling so negative about it.#also again i literally dont have an issue with men... if anything its just men as a romantic option disappoints me.#so many of the girls/women i care about have really shitty relationships with men that my immediate assumption is that the relationship is#gomma be bad and im gonna have to put in a ton of emotional labour#but even if that were a preconception i still got my stupid ass insecure sexuality.#anyways i need to ramble about this for 6 hrs to a therapist with 16 yrs of gay people experience#a
