anyway i don't mean to tell anyone off here. like different preferences in media are cool. but this IS my blog where i can say whatever i want, so while i'm saying whatever i want, since it keeps coming up i think i just really don't get what people like about Came Back Wrong/"changed too much and can never go back" as it's generally presented. on tumblr at least and i guess in some media somewhere since yall must have gotten it from somewhere. but so often it's presented as the character Changing Completely As A Person and angsting about it, without tying it back to their previous self or really explaining WHY they're Different Now, and it's like. well you've just come up to me and asked me what i would think about if my blorbo became completely different in every way. and the answer is i would not care about them anymore i guess. not much of a thought experiment there.
