for cinematic parallels i think third eye au 'starting' (ie. batman tracking down third eye & discovering its the presumed dead timothy drake) should occur at the same point in the timeline as under the red hood, which is generally accepted to be roughly three years after DitF, which i think? works? for this au, since that means tim is 13 when the Plot Diverges and 16 when the Story Starts.

the three years work with the. uh. name of the au. and also can be split neatly into the 18 months of shiva training and 18 months of solo work as Third Eye building up his reputation/Grand Plan, only for batman to show up, pull the rug from underneath him and destroy everything he'd worked for.

that means knightfall, contagion, no man's land, murderer/fugitive, hush, war games* (*this au may avert war games from ever happening) and identity crisis all occur with Jason alive but retired and Lonnie Machin as the third Robin, whilst Infinite Crisis occurs concurrently with batman tracking down the mysterious information broker who knows and might sell his identity, and coming back to Gotham with the teenager whose orphaning and then death he'd been blaming himself over for three years

This also means third eye au gets to operate during 52 and can neatly and easily avert the evil cass plot from ever happening in OYL, swapping it instead for Family Drama
