like ten years ago i got to go to ireland with the study abroad club at my college and our first plane left at like 5 in the morning (meaning we had to be there at 3:30 or so) so i was like. well i’m not going to make that if i try to wake up in time for it, so i just stayed up the entire night so i’d be there on time

but i’d also not slept since the night before that

i thought to myself ‘sure whatever i’ll just sleep on the plane’

i didn’t sleep on the plane. i didn’t even sleep during the 6-hour layover we had in new york city. by the time we left for ireland i’d been awake for. idek how many hours but it was Rough

anyway the one thing i remember very vividly from the whole experience was snapping awake in an airport chair hearing the phrase ‘a peanut in a candy’s dream’ echoing around my head thinking emoji i still have no idea what that was about
