ok so i wasn’t really gonna have bucky play any major part in remortal au but how fucking funny would it be if after he’s found and brought back he takes one look at tony, kinda squints, and just goes “… i shot you”

#bucky: oh god is my memory still this faulty because i remember shooting this guy in the head but clearly that didn’t happen #tony: haha i remember that lmao. fun times #hydra keeps trying to assassinate tony and it keeps not sticking #and at this point there’s a theory that tony stark is actually just a series of androids operated by jarvis #hydra being fully convinced that tony has not been a real person since 2008 and that he did just die in afghanistan is very funny #hm. this also means he wouldn’t be on the insight kill list #if they think he’s not real. why shoot an android if another one will just show back up #actually oh no this could Fuck actually #sew some seeds of mistrust: tony’s deffo hiding something and he’s not on the insight list #for the arc where there’s also the coulson trial #HMMM OK OK OK #this could be. i could work with this.
