Meghan has Emily Andrews hyping up another career rebrand and relaunch.
Which got me thinking...how many times has Meghan's PR hinted, alleged, teased a return to social media or a new career relaunch? How many rumors has her PR started to hype up her rebrand, relaunch, or return?
Let us count the ways!
We'll start in August 2022, because that was when she finally got the brand launch/rollout she expected from Megxit that the pesky little pandemic kept her from getting. So, in August 2022:
She hinted to The Cut that she was coming back to social media.
She hinted that she was writing her memoirs and looking for a publisher.
She teased that she and Harry were renewing their wedding vows.
In September 2022:
She hinted that she was willing to come back to the BRF and relaunch Duchess brand.
She shopped her memoirs again.
In October 2022:
She hinted to Variety that she was relaunching both her acting career and feminist activism.
She hinted that she and Harry wanted to live in Windsor Castle and would come back to the BRF.
She denied to Fortune that she would ever be back on social media (debunking her own rumor from August/The Cut). She mustn't have gotten any interest or traction from sponsors or followers.
She teased that Harry's memoir would turn him into an exalted American leader in the company of Barack Obama and Mark Zuckerberg. (Seriously. I kid you not.)
In November 2022:
There was a leak that she had been contacting brands, companies, and fashion houses that she was available for merching since she was returning to social media .
In December 2022:
She hinted that her family's Christmas photo would launch her new social media.
Also in 2022: (I didn't catch dates for these)
She hinted intentions to run for President or other U.S. political office.
She hinted intentions to lobby for a Department of State foreign ambassadorship posting.
It was leaked that she planned to rebrand Archewell as a "royal warrant"-like endorsement brand for travel, restaurants, stores in return for freebies and merch.
It was also leaked that way back in August 2019, she wanted to relaunch as an American royal by having a partnership with the US Open (like how Kate represents/partners with Wimbledon).
In January 2023:
She teased launching a housewares and beauty brand.
She hinted that she would relaunch her social media for Valentine's Day.
She hinted a Hollywood A-List reset by suggesting she would be in a Beyonce documentary.
In February 2023:
She hinted her social media would come at the end of the month.
She hinted that she and Harry were available for opportunities in Australia (i.e., they wanted a fauxyal tour of Australia but they also wanted to get paid for goign to Australia).
She teased launching a California casual clothing brand.
She hinted at relaunching her political career and hinted her availability/interest to be a recess appointee to California's congressional delegation.
She hinted relaunching her calligraphy company.
In March 2023:
She hinted returning to social media for the Met Gala.
She hinted at wanting to move out of the US to a private island-type of place.
She hinted that Archewell would become a production company for female-driven storytelling, like a more prestigious Hallmark.
In April 2023:
She hinted returning to social media for May 6th, Archie's very very important not-to-be-missed milestone birthday.
She hinted returning to social media for Mother's Day. (The US celebrates Mother's Day on the second Sunday of May.)
She teased Archetypes Season 2.
She hinted a return to acting/Hollywood and teased a producing partnership with Mindy Kaling.
She teased relaunching The Tig in June 2023.
She hinted her career relaunch and social media rebrand would exclude Harry.
She shopped her memoirs again.
In May 2023:
Her PR put out feelers for her and Harry to appear on the morning talk shows to give interviews about their "catastrophic car chase."
She hinted that she wanted her own daytime talk show.
She teased an appearance on Property Brothers IOU.
She hinted at being Gayle's first guest on her new "King Charles" CNN show.
In June 2023:
She hinted that she was launching a subscription box service, like Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop.
In July 2023:
She hinted that she was partnering with Hilaria Baldwin on the subscription box service.
She hinted she was open for acting jobs.
In August 2023:
Her PR dropped her new Instagram handle and hinted she would be back "soon," suggesting that the relaunch would start with a never-before-seen photograph of her chidlren with The late Queen in a tribute on the anniversary of The Queen's passing.
She hinted a Tig relaunch in September 2023.
She hinted she was developing her own wine brand.
She hinted returning to the royal fold with another round of peace talks with the BRF that would take place in September 2023.
She hinted wanting to come back to be a royal again.
In September 2023:
She hinted returning to social media and relaunching The Tig in November 2023 when Endgame is published.
She teased her memoirs again.
In October 2023:
She hinted launching new social media on November 1.
More memoir teasing.
She hinted that she was being blocked from pursuing politics by Michelle Obama. (Okay, this one doesn't count as a rebrand or relaunch, but I think it's funny. Like Michelle Obama really spends time thinking of and worrying about Meghan Markle when she, and her husband, very publicly chose the BRF over the Sussexes.)
So by the numbers...it's 48 total attempts to rebrand, relaunch, reset, or return. No wonder Meghan needs a vacation for every 2 hours of work! It's exhausting trying to decide who (and what) she wants to be.
And out of all 48 hints, only 1 came to pass: rebranding Archewell as female-driven storytelling and content creation.
Here's the Emily Andrews article.
Edit: 11/17/23 - I added a jump cut to make this post shorter for easier reblogs later since I plan to keep adding onto this.
“they can show the world and the BRF that they are having the time of their lives and all is well.” Yep, I can see this. Archie and Lili who? I know the SB is not the environment for small kids it’s just another out of town event without their kids
Meghan: "We aren't attending Christmas this year because the children are kept separate, away from the adults and I just love Archie too much to be away from him for the 2 hours dinner takes."
Also Meghan:
Leaves an infant Archie in September 2019 for US Open. Gone about 2 days most likely.
Leaves infant Archie in care of nannies (apparently a fire broke out) while on tour in SA.
Leaves 6 month old Archie in Canada to return to the UK a couple weeks after Christmas. She is only in the UK for a couple of days but still.
Leaves 9 month old in Canada to travel to the UK for final royal events. Gone 5 days I think.
September 2021 leaves two year old Archie with Doria and nannies for a fake royal tour in NYC
November 2021 leaves Archie again for NYC for Endeavor awards.
There was another NYC tour in 2022.
Then came September 2022 when they tried to do their own UK Royal tour and TQ died. Archie and Lili were left with Doria and nannies for over 2 weeks.
So all of this BS about how she couldn't make the coronation because she wanted to remain looking after the children because she is such a devoted mother was crap. She didn't go because she wasn't going to get preferential treatment, nor were her kids.
They have zero issue leaving their kids behind when it gets them press coverage.

No doubt "DIOR Contract" was at the top of the 2017 RMM- DIANA 2.0 vision board & megxit manifesto. In other words: Sparry's 'honey do' for MeMe list: Meet Beyonce (on yellow carpet)✔ Disney (princess) gig✔. oh to be a fly on a Cali wall after that Dior ANNOUNCEMENT: guttural moans & tears for weeks! 😬

A word to the wise and to the Meghans: The REAL Santa knows whose on the MARKLED List.
Play stupid games and MARKLE yourselves!
I'll buy that Jill Smoller (formerly Gina) badgered Dior on behalf of MEgain, but no way would Dior sully their brand with the toxic, mentally unstable, over seas royals who can't be bothered to iron 🙄
"Oh & I took FRENCH for 8 years in high school or was it 4 years?" 😉
"...but but I'm not a model, I'm just a mom. Thankfully Sparry was here to coach me that I can be both. I wonder how he became so wise?" Variety 2022

The Sun: What is the history between Dior and the royal family?
December 12, 2023 || Born in 1905, Christian Dior, the fashion designer, climbed the ranks of several Parisian fashion houses before establishing his own establishment in 1946.
One of the early royal admirers of the designer was Princess Margaret, the sister of Queen Elizabeth II.
She became a client of the fashion house and one of Dior's most famous designs, the "Margaret Dress," was named after her.
Queen Elizabeth II also shared a close connection with Dior.
She appointed Doir to design her Coronation gown for the crowning ceremony in 1953.
The gown, famously called the "Hartnell Dress," was a collaboration between Dior and British couturier Sir Norman Hartnell.
Over the years, various royal family members have continued to wear Dior creations for public appearances.
Dior dressed Prince Harry for King Charles' coronation in May 2023 - as the royal forwent wearing a military uniform.
Shortly after the coronation ceremony, Dior took to its social media to reveal Kim Jones was the designer behind the suit.
"Tailoring fit for royalty. Dior is honoured to have dressed Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, for the coronation of King Charles III in a custom design by Kim Jones," the brand wrote on Instagram.
"Seen arriving at Westminster Abbey, gain an insight into the savoir-faire of his three-piece suit next," it added.
Why was it speculated that Meghan Markle would have a deal with Dior?
In June 2023, it was reported that Meghan was in talks about taking on a deal with Dior.
Following the cancellation of her Spotify podcast after just one season, there was widespread speculation that the Duchess of Sussex was poised for a new role with the French fashion house.
Meghan has worn Dior several times throughout her time as a working royal, including at the late Queen Elizabeth's funeral in September 2022.
However, sources close to the Royals said no contract had been inked.
Dior also expressed its surprise and confusion when the idea of a deal was initially brought up.
A source told the Telegraph: "The Duchess of Sussex is not in talks to sign a deal with Dior.
"There is no truth to the claims that she will partner with the French fashion house,"
A Dior insider said its team was "nonplussed as to how the story came about".
Who became 'the Duchess of Dior' in 2023?
Meghan lost out on the opportunity of a lucrative Dior job to a Kate Middleton actress.
It was revealed in November 2023, that Meg Bellamy, 21, who plays a young Kate Middleton in season six of the hit royal drama The Crown is to be the new face of Dior.
An insider told The Daily Mail: "They have been queuing up for Meg, she is playing the most famous woman in the world in a globally famous television drama, so many labels and brands want some of that.
"She is a total unknown, but she is being treated like Kate, an A-list princess."
What deals and contracts does Meghan Markle have?
After leaving the royal family and their royal duties, Prince Harry and Meghan vowed to become financially independent.
It was reported that the couple would support themselves through Prince Harry's $10 million inheritance from his mother, Princess Diana.
With the world eager to know their story, lucrative million-dollar deals started rolling in from AppleTV, Netflix, and Spotify.
The couple signed a deal with Netflix through their production company, Archewell Productions, with a hefty payment of $100 million for multiple projects.
They have since released one documentary, Harry and Meghan.
Their upcoming documentary series titled, Heart of Invictus, is in the works.
While their third documentary is to be shot in South Africa, the Sussexes are also planning to delve into the rom-com genre with the streaming giant
In June 2023, the couple made headlines when it was reported that their 25-million-dollar deal with Spotify had ended.
According to Rolling Stone, the couple would pay back a portion of their deal money and look for another company to produce podcasts with.
In a joint statement, they said: "Spotify and Archewell Audio have mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we made together."
Royal biographer Tom Bower believes that the couple's "joint ventures are falling apart" and that Meghan is finding it difficult to sell her brand.
"They're beginning to taste the medicine that they handed out after the Oprah interview and they're finding it very very hard to keep their brand reputable," Bower told new magazine.
"They're constantly having to defend themselves and grasping at opportunities that don't exist anymore."

My #1 post of 2022
14 April 2021 || Savannah and Isla Phillips with the other great-grandchildren of The Queen and Prince Philip in 1 of the 3 photos released by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in memory of the lovely Duke of Edinburgh
A List™️ of things I would like to see from Anne and the rest of the BRF in 2022:
MORE JOINT ENGAGEMENTS PLEASE - Anne and Camilla? Anne and Liz? Anne and the Cambridges? Make it happen.
New photos of Anne and Tim for their 30th wedding anniversary 🥰 (which is nearly 2023 but idgaf we better get those) including at least one with the annelets
To follow up, for them to do something special on the day that we would get to see a bit of. A little party, perhaps? With the fam and their closest friends? They’ll never fucking let us see that but I will continue to hope
Some lovely photos of the Tindall, Phillips and Cambridge babies being besties - particularly little Lena and Louis causing chaos and doing it so flawlessly
To go with the above, new pics of Anne and Tim with the smallest annelets because we still haven’t seen that and I’m still upset about it
Several new documentaries marking the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee - one focusing on her working life, a series in which each episode focuses on a particular person or section of the family and how they help her, and a more personal one where we see the family come together to pay tribute to her with more unseen footage and lovely anecdotes MAKE IT HAPPEN
In general, more joint, in-person appearances at events that we haven’t been able to see due to Covid (ie Christmas, Easter, Trooping, Ascot, Services of Thanksgiving, etc.). I think it would be wise to give that little bit more exposure next year since we haven’t seen them very much at all, and the fact that it’s the Platinum Jubilee as well
Andrew in a cell at best, cast out of the family with everything removed at least. Even better if Fergie also ends up in a cell, and if they let either one of them near the Jubilee celebrations I swear to CHRIST
Next year’s Christmas card to be a big family photo with everyone and for it to land swiftly on the Internet in HD 😌
If anyone has any other suggestions, please share!
