My Perfect Birthday Cake - May 25, 2024

All I can think about is cake.

It's my birthday tomorrow (May 26), so I painted what I believe would be my perfect birthday cake! I love strawberries, cream, and all matters of cake so a strawberry shortcake or even a Japanese Christmas Cake would be absolutely perfect. Truly, all I could think about this month was cake! I actually made some cupcakes this month so pretty much had this experience with fresh strawberries. Since I am super sensitive to sugar, I have to make all of my own sweets as sugar free items. So yeah, this is an elaborate type of cake with a chocolate Boov on the top with the fresh strawberries, a cookie on the side, and a chocolate Saturn stuck to it. I added some gold paint because it's really pretty. Do I have the skills to actually make a cake that looks like this? Haha, hell no. :D

Drawn on St. Patrick's Day! Man, I love green. What a color! I mean, it's the best color. And add that with purple? Superb. Yup. Green is the best. The actual best. And so are the Boov. I just can't with this picture; I love how it came out.

This concept originates from the 'Adventures of Tip and Oh' Netflix cartoon's 'Wrinkly Humans People' episode. So I painted them making a terrible looking cake and it's funny. Oddly, this was supposed to be a quicker acrylic painting but I ended up embellishing a background and different outfits for these two.

Space Nonsense - March 3, 2024

Haha, I wanted to see a Boov cosplay as a fairy. The aliens won't be able to get any air (they are heavy according to the movie) but they would look even cuter with little wings.

Summers End - September 22, 2023

I like summer, like, a lot! So I guess seeing it end just kinda sucks. However, depicting sunset colors for this just really works for that feeling, so it could be sad and beautiful. Due to the color experimenting, it almost reminds me of the vaporwave art.

I have more summer pics that I still need to finish from July, so I will post those after I finish them.

Though this is still mostly watercolor, there is a fair amount of marker and acrylic added.

Oh - April 11 2023 It's Oh because he's absolutely marvelous. This pretty Boov is painted in oil pastels; and honestly one of the best oil pastel pieces I have done to date. Geez.

Tip and Oh - By the Tree - December 31 2022

Last pic of 2022!!! lol I really wanted to finish this one before the end of the year. :p

I worked on this much of Christmas Day and a little bit of the next day, ultimately finishing Tip and the background. But I spent so long on it in those few sessions and had to put it down for a while, so Oh had to wait to be completed. :p  Really, I have been more invested in watercolor or just physical art this year and that is expected to continue, but it does not mean that I never do digital art. :)

My Love For the Universe - May 19, 2024

Yes, the universe is a beautiful and deadly place.

It's usually not my style to perform the same concept or same drawing twice, but heh, it's been a while since I actually colored anything and I figured it would be fun as not only a practice set, but also to see what I come up with regarding this universe concept when its more planned. I actually like the clouds in this drawing quite a bit better and like that the Boov Goddess is blending out into a constellation type. I also like the more planned locations of the stars.

It's been a while since I posted but I actually have been sketching and making line art a lot, just haven't been coloring or finishing any art. My allergies always get me this time of year and my head is all foggy. So, during allergy season, I'm basically a Psyduck; I'm confused half of the time and chances dictate that I probably have a headache.
