This is a blend of 1 year old spontaneously fermented wild ale that was refermented on top of 2 varieties of wine grapes. Beautiful does not begin to describe it. Grape, overly ripe dark fruit, a hint of funky cheese and a subtle sourness... so, so good! I hope @audiokitty and I get to @austin_city some day to visit them in person. @sipssudsandsmokes #60secondbeerreview- Cellar Pick - 2016 Bee Yeast is a 7.1% braggot from @yazoobrew in Nashville, TN as part of their @embracethefunk line. Soooooooo glad we got 2 bottles of this thing. Starts as a pale ale fermented with wild yeast isolated from Tennessee bee pollen then aged for a year in oak barrels before undergoing a secondary fermentation with Arkansas honey and cinnamon. It's funky and sweet and so flavorful you can't drink a lot at once, even though you want to. Helluva beer.
