You know what would be interesting?

A sad deconstruction of the Autobot Ally...

A person who befriended the Autobots as a child or teenager and got involved in their war...

Unlike the other kid allies, this person had lost human loved ones from the war (as well as Autobot loved ones)...

This Ally had seen things that would make them have PTSD and probably other mental health issues in the future...

And when the Ally become an adult, they’re a bitter, cold and stoic warrior (that secretly resents Optimus for letting an innocent kid get involved in their alien space war AND for not killing Megatron yet)...

They’re also smart, skilled and have powerful weapons/armor!

So, when the Bitter Autobot Ally meets other Autobot Allies that are still happy kids... they get angry at the Autobots for STILL letting this happen, instead of leaving the kids alone (or finding a way to erase their memories MIB style) and they might also get angry at some of the kids that think being part of the war is awesome... the Bitter Ally doesn’t want to see these kids ruin their lives, like they did with their own, so they try the ‘cruel to be kind’ thing with mixed results...

Bitter Ally: You don't belong here with the Autobots. You're all a disgrace to true warriors, and if you have any respect for who we are and what we do, you will be gone by morning...

Bitter Ally: I loved my family like I had never loved anyone before... or since... And now, I have a chance to make things right. To finally defeat the Decepticons. And I’m stuck with you. A bunch of arrogant, spoiled brats who treats this war like it’s a joke...

Bitter Ally: You think you want this, but you don't! Not like this... Don't throw away your childhoods for the Autobots. Don't let their war POISON your lives the way it did with mine. You’re all going to finish school and get jobs. You'll meet people, good people and you'll have a family, but please believe me, you don't want this. Please, kids, you have to believe me. Please, don't do what I did...
