The only room in the starlight I didn't get to feature was the morgue- located directly behind the basement pool room. I was flying around in TAB mode and I jumpscared the hell out of myself when this townie was tending this 'bar' alone in this room like the blair witch project.

OFF TOPIC: In that same vein, whenever I want to have a 'meeting' with my sims, I place a tiny TOOL'ed down TV behind the speaker's head and have them all watch it.
I posed out a face for Val but the height slider was contorting it in a way i hated so I just said fuck it. When I unpaused he made the best in game face immediately after and I'm obsessed with it. It was perfect and he got a gold star for that. Sometimes the sims surprises me.
The elevator on the top floor of the Starlight is only 1x2 tiles, so I had to greenscreen in a fake elevator interior, which is why the reflections don't match up 😂
I actually shot the whole elevator scene in a floating copy in the basement.

This fight took me 3 weeks to pose out and get looking decent in game because of the extreme height difference between Henry and Poppy. I still hate it.

I had around 50 effects players running for the final fight. Turns out if you do this and you go into CAS or BB even once your game will become basically non responsive. I quit out and reloaded an upsetting amount of times to get this scene shot.
The Flooded Version of the Vault was shot on a different lot using the pond tool trick and lowering the floor down one platform height to get the illusion of the room being flooded with pool water.

In uniform is Perry Rose, aka Gold Dollar, who came to Las Vegas from Texas with Benny Binion. While Binion was in prison Rose took other work, then returned to work with Horseshoe club after Binion returned.
[In '60] after a threatened march by the NAACP, club owners agreed to integrate. This represented progress, though modest and spotty, and the Horseshoe was slow to comply. Dr. James McMillan, president of the Las Vegas NAACP, did not press the matter at the Horseshoe because of Gold Dollar, the ex-chauffeur who had gone back to work for Binion. "This guy was six-foot-six inches tall and weighed 300 pounds. A rough, tough, bad cowboy," McMillan said of Gold Dollar. "Him being a security guard there, we felt that we just couldn't challenge Binion at that particular time. We let that alone. Mermaids and Glitter Gulch closed later in 2016, with plans to demolish them to make extra room for the new resort. Derek Stevens had initially planned to build a resort on the site referred to as Fortunate Line, designed by Paul Steelman. That 12 months, Derek Stevens also purchased a 2-acre site throughout the street from the Las Vegas Membership, between the Plaza Resort & Casino and the principle Street Station. Derek Stevens initially considered renovating the Las Vegas Membership, but he disliked its design and determined to demolish it completely to build a brand new resort in its place.
Downtown Las Vegas Occasions Heart. fat168slot.com explained the resort's title, itemizing examples of earlier well known Las Vegas properties and their institution dates and founders, akin to, "Circa 1941, Jackie Gaughan, El Cortez. The Binions bought the home in '47; Benny and Teddy Jane Binion lived here until the 70s. Jack Binion told the Houston Chronicle in '89: "Everything's in there like they'd gone on a trip, but they just never came back." The upper floor was damaged by fire in 5/90. The house has been vacant and boarded since the 90s.
Originally built in '42 by service station owner C.A. Morehouse, the home was one of the largest in Las Vegas with three bedrooms, several baths, a large basement, guesthouse and swimming pool. In '46 the home was sold [to Joseph Hooghe] and converted into a "dude ranch" where those seeking a quickie divorce could establish their six-week residency requirements. Benny Binion, a boisterous Texas gambler with a great love for quarter horses, purchased the home in '47. He and his wife, Teddy Jane, raised their family and kept horses here, close to Binion's Horseshoe Club located on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas. – Las Vegas Pioneer Trail marker
