Poor Dipper, he was just trying to catalogue some new flora with the bf but Bill’s got his fancy waistcoat on and plans on turning this little outing into a swell date. Better keep in step Pinetree!

------ how it started ------

'Well that was nearly a little too easy' Bill thought to himself 'figured a blue siren would be harder to find in the ocean'. Gleeful did give him a very direct discription where to find one of these big shimmering fish and even tho he had no clue why the little brat know where to find one or why he wanted to have a siren so bad, he didn't really care all that much. He did his job and that was all that mattered. It meant peace for him and his crew

Suddenly the net over his head ripped apart and it?... He? fell out of it and needed less time to recover from falling then the crew needed from the suprise. The siren wiggled and crawled over the deck and nearly jumped back into the water but it was no use. A crewmember already grabbed him by the end of his his tail, pulling him back and Bill approached with a rope and started tieing him up. He took a moment to look the siren in the face, grinning over the determination in it. The Sparkling Fish was scared, obviously, but the captain knew if he didn't already tied him up enough he could lose a hand to those teeth or an eye to those claws.

"I'm sorry little fish but catching you means keeping my freedom"

To his surprise the siren answered in voice that could've been fully human of it wasn't for the underlying growling

"What kind of freedom is that? Taking it from others and keeping it for themself... That's not how freedom works"

"In my case it does, trust me"

Fully tied up he picked the siren up and personally carried him to the container they got from Gleeful.

'Maybe Gleeful want one because they're so beautiful' Bill thought and nearly laughed out loud at the thought how much trouble the siren would give him

------ how it's going ------

It took all strength that Dipper still had left in him to hold on. If this stupid idiot of a Pirat could breath under water or at least didn't nearly drowned he could have easily swim him to the island he could see, but no that would've been to easy. This way he needed to make sure the blondes head wasn't under water, and apparently all that Bill could do now was try to hold on very weakly and... still smile for some reason, but at least he didn't lose his consciousness again.

Dipper screamed against the raging of the storm that was nothing compared to the rage within himself "WHy ARE yoU STILL SMILING'

Bill wispied back, the loudest he could manage

"you couldn't let me die, you..." he took a deep breath and nearly swolled more of the seawater "saved me after all I did"

That answer didn't help even if he could feel something else then the rage and Panik for a second. He put his tail around Bills legs and tried pulling the man even more to the stone and onto himself

'I HAD TO, YOU LET ME GO'

'after I captured you..."

the smile seemed to stretch even wider

"and people call me insane'

Uhhh merry Christmas and happy new year @ryno-qq!! I was your secret Santa and I'm incredibly late xD sorry for that and I hope you have as much fun with your gift as I did!! It took a while for me to choose what to draw and the story behind it so it ended up being this mishmash of a little writing and two drawings ✌️ hope the writing isn't too bad ^^;

This is my gift for @thesapphiredragon13, based on a siren bill and researcher dipper prompt. I used the album art for "The Pool" - Stephen Sanchez as inspo, and its also cool bc I did a researcher dipper for last years secret santa! He has a harem :) It is so much fun to do these secret santas and I am grateful I was let in even tho I missed the deadline by a day or two lol. It is also the most consistent metric to measure my improvement by, and it is so much fun to give and receive art <33333

BillDip Secret Santa 2022

I think it's about time to fire up blog again lol if we get at least 10 entries the event is on.

Rules:

*I will message you when I see your entry so you know Tumblr did not eat your message. 1. Do not reveal who you are assigned to until the day the gifts are revealed. 2. Do not post your gift until the assigned days 3. You must complete your gift. If for some reason you are unable to, contact me ASAP either through this blog or my main @ayrivynne so I can get a backup gifter. If you need an extension, please contact me ASAP 4. If you know you won’t be able to post your gift at all inform me ASAP, I don’t enjoy having people wait forever for their gifts due to previous events. 5. To ensure everyone has a partner and feels comfortable, there WILL NOT be any NSFW content allowed since I know not everyone is able to create NSFW content 6. The hashtag will be #billdipSS22

HOW TO JOIN:

1. Please create a wishlist of 3-5 ideas for your gifter. It’s hard for someone to gift you something with no idea of what to create. I will not take anyone that does not send a wishlist, you will not be added.

2. Send your wishlist to the blog either through an ask or submission. Be sure to not be anonymous. I won’t be able to assign you to anyone without knowing who you are.

3. Tell me what you are able to give (art only, writing only, both). Please list what you can draw/write and what you will not draw/write so you can be assigned to a person properly.

4. Are you able to be a back up gifter? Back up gifters will be informed ASAP and given an extra month to complete the gift. This is not an obligation.

Last Day to join: October 30th Assignments given: October 31st-November 1st Gift Reveal: December 25th- January 2st

How you will get your assigned person:

I will sort all of you into categories of art only, writing only, or both. This makes step 3 really important. I will individually message you all with your person’s wishlist. (I will be messaging you through my main acc and not through the blog since I am unable to do so through a co-owned blog)
