#realizing how in many ways yueh is the reverse of bill mulder #yueh sells out his duke--his government--for the sake of his family--namely his wife (which makes his motivations more sympathetic)#bill mulder destroys his family as (it would seem thus far) a show of loyalty to his government (making his motivation less sympathetic)#but both yueh and bill mulder recognize they're involved in something inexcusable #and try to do some good where they can even if it's only to ease their own consciences #idk man it's compelling to me #anyway. i made this.#the x files #red string and thumbtacks
