Reasons Why HEP is better than the MR/ Things HEP can use against the MR
This is based off a conversation me and @goosebxrry-art had on discord that was big brain of course this all in hypothetical and the turf war is a friendly thing between the hermits so dont take it too seriously
1) Scar hasn't gotten Etho's book yet, which has false info about who's in the resistance, and considering that they already know who’s in Scar might think that something is up (which it is).
2) Etho only put HEP members in the book framing them, so very sus.
3) Brings me to my next part, Impulse put the real members of the MR in the fake base, giving all their roles too, which can battle the original fake info board False found, again will make the MR very sus. They basically have 3 sets of Resistance Member Boards, all very different.
4) When buying the throne, the MR practically gave all their mycelium stock to HEP, and with Impulse's farm down, so its gonna be a struggle to get more mycelium. They also destroyed that mooshroom island where they got most of the mycelium, and they aren’t even replacing it with another block, straight up destroying it. Scar is at least replacing it with grass.
5) Ppl saying the MR legally bought the throne, which is correct. But they used the scheme to intentionally exploit it for themselves, which is technically wrong.
6) Probably the only people on HEP that can have a fair battle with Impulse is Tango and/or Xisuma (who hasn't been unleashed yet so beware-).
7) It is kinda true that the mycelium is a canonically a fungus/parasite. Based off how when you shear a mooshroom and it becomes a cow, it seems that the mycelium attached itself to the cow, a host. Its also the only grass-like block to have spores around it, hinting it as a fungus. Cows were the only animals on the mushrooom island, what happened to the other ones... Also how Ren's hair has gotten purple and itchy ever since joining the MR.
8) Scar has already hinted toward a compromise. In the HEP meeting he said that he wants to show appreciation for mushrooms and how they can be good in moderation, by putting them in pots at the meeting table. He also hasn't turned the Aqua Thunder land into grass yet, he might use that land for compromise.
9) Majority of the resistance members voted for Scar because he would get rid of the mycelium, that was his whole campaign, so why the sudden rebellion?
10) Most of the work by the MR has been done by Etho and Impulse so far, so if HEP finds a way to stop them, even for a bit and with the right tactics, HEP could get a win.
11) XB lied to mumbo to get him to join, so much so that Mumbo is considering to leave. And Grian forced Stress to join the MR, without her will. Grian also used Iskall and Mumbo to steal the throne and replace it with mycelium, to support his plans in the MR, disguised as a hermit challenge. So a bit of dirty work on their hands
12) The MR has the weakest reason in the world to rebel against Scar, "It's about the principle." Its so weak even the MR initially questioned it, only to be told by Grian to listen. Bc what does it mean?? What is the principle, the reason to rebel???
13) In this aspect of turning the mooshroom island to grass, Scar isn't being corrupt in this area as mayor. He's doing what he was voted in for. To turn the Shopping District into grass.
I think a lot of the events that happened in the storyline been prevented if Scar explained things better, such as the Buy-Back Scheme, and the reason for the road passes (when he first did them) since he really told no one about the road competition until later, and that the diamonds were the prize money. Especially since thats what got Grian riled up in the first place and start the MR (i think i dont remember).
Thats my Ted Talk
Again guys dont take this too seriously, me and goose thought it would be fun to come up with this stuff. The hermits are all friends and its nothing serious about the turf war. Gotta give it to the resistance tho they have great tatics agaisnt HEP and a amazing HQ

Taste of Autumn Pasties
Tumblr media
When the bakers were challenged to make delicious pasties for their International Week signature challenge on the Great Kiwi Bake Off, I knew this is what I would bake, too. Firstly because the technical -Nastar- required a hand-carved mould I of course don’t own, and the showstopper was a charlotte cake. I’ve just baked this Chiffon Cake and Christmas is next week, you see what I mean? Now is not the time for big numbers (although now is apparently the time for reno...so my olds decided.) Also, I’m French, I’ve done a few Charlottes (my favourites were this Peachy one, and this boozy Strawberry blonde!) Anyways, I mainly decided to bake pasties because I’ve a Cornish grandma, and Barbara makes the best pasties and the best scones. As we’re into the last days of Autumn, I made these Taste of Autumn Pasties, a scrumptious eating after painting the living room ceiling!
Ingredients (makes 8 pasties):
2 tablespoons olive oil
705 grams/1.5 pound pork shoulder
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 large onion
the top halve of a large butternut squash (cut widthwise, a little over the seeds)
6 large cremini mushroooms
1 large garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 heaped tablespoons Rosemary Apple Jelly
4 large halves Pears in Syrup
4 fluffy sprigs fresh parsley
1 egg
1 kilogram/2.20 pounds Thyme and Parmesan Pastry
In a large, deep, nonstick skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
With a sharp knife, cut pork shoulder into decent, bite-sized chunks, and add to the skillet. Stirring often, let the meat colour and brown, to develop the flavour; but do not cook completely. Transfer to a plate. Set aside.
In the same skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Stir in the onion, and cook, about 3 minutes, until softened and starting to colour.
Peel the skin off the butternot squash, and cut into dices. Stir butternut squash into the skillet, and sauté, a few minutes. Cut mushrooms into thick slices and stir into the skillet as well. Sauté, until softened, a couple of minutes more. Reduce heat to medium, and stir in garlic. Return pork to the skillet, along with its resting juices. Season with coarse sea salt, black pepper and cinnamon. Finally, stir in Rosemary Apple Jelly until melted. Remove from the heat.
Dice Pears in Syrup and finely chop parsley. Stir both into the skillet. Allow to cool completely.
Once the pork and butternut squash filling has cooled, preheat oven to 205°C/400°F. Line two baking trays with baking paper.
Lightly beat the egg, set aside.
Divide Thyme and Parmesan Pastry into eight equal portions, and roll each out onto a lightly floured surface, into circles of roughly 20cm/8″.
Arrange about 4 tablespoons of the cooled pork and butternut mixture onto one side of each  Pastry circle, leaving a space on the edge. Fold the Pastry circle over, pressing gently but firmly around pork mixture to seal and prevent air pockets. Crimp to seal even better. Place onto one of the baking trays. Repeat with remaining Pastry and pork and butternut mixture until you have eight pasties.*
Brush thoroughly with beaten egg, and bake at 205°C/400°F, for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
*Once the pasties are filled, sealed and crimped, and before egg-washing, you can freeze them up to three months.

Sten Hugo Hiller - 627184: War of `64. First day, main engagements.
(By Sten Hugo Hiller - 627184) War of `64. First day, main engagements. As the day wore on, and the Commanders began looking through the battlereports, several avenues of attacks were discussed. Some of them seemed more likely to be succesfull than others, and were the first to be chosen. But some clans had less leeway, and had the choiche between being beaten back in risky attacks, or just stay and take whatever punishment their opponents choose to inflict upon them. Of course, some clans were still hiding their strenghts, waiting to see if an oppurtunate moment would come when a last minute offensive could tip the battle in their favor. As seven hours of fighting remained, the scores was: Div 1 Warlocks HQ 80 - 10 B.o,A.D. Less than two handfuls of additional skirmishes have been reported. The Dragons won a couple of them, but the Warlocks have eight times as many wins. Nemesis 166 - 29 Spirit of Bunny In the so far bllodiest fight of the day the Bunnies have managed to claim another win. But Nemesis have already outscored them by more than 130 points. Div 2 Northwind Dragons 51 - 10 Death Dealers With total disregard for the Dealers heavier formations and higher licences the Dragons are on the offense. So far they have won better than five out of every six clashes. M&L Team Banzai 96 - 25 Slaughter House 5 Another short dozen skirmishes have been fought. The Slaughterers have started giving almost as good as they get, but the Banzaiers have nearly four times as many wins, so this is all over but the shouting. Div 3 Death`s Collectors 31 - 39 T.B. BlackWatch BlackWatch have managed to get a bit in front of the Collectors, but the fight is still in progress and the outcome is not determined yet. Avengers of Bunny 25 - 29 Star League The Bunnies have crept closer to the Leaguers, and they only need another handful of wins to get past. Will this be a Match to Watch? Div 4 B.S.L.R. 62 - 12  Heroes The fighting contionues, but the Heroes still take way more losses than the Rangers. M&L B.C. 13th A.D. 78 - 57 "R.V." The Cats have seemingly released their reserves, and the situation is starting to look bad for R.V. But a solid counterattack might yet turn the fight. Div 5 D.D.A. 19 - 39 Death`s Revenge The Revengers are hitting hard, and with more than twice the wins the Asylants have claimed they start to look like the champions here. Ronins 55 - 0 Defenders of Bunny The Ronins continue to slaughter Bunnies without taking any significant return fire. Question is no longer who will win, but how big a margin the Ronins will have in the end. Mad Scientist.7 53 - 16 A.C. The Scientists are showing a degree of skill that few had suspected. At the moment they have A.C. at the ropes after outscoring them better than 3-1. Black Star Bandits 55 - 15 Chess Dragons The Bandits have continued to claim wins, but the Dragons have started to hit back. Can the Dragons manage to overcome the Bandits in the time remaining? Div 6 Smurf Platoon 94 - 0 t&t The Smurfs have claimed a few more wins, while t&t seem unable to get even a single win to their name. Diamond Dragons 46 - 1 M&L B.o.P.S. The Dragons are picking the Smurfs mushrooom patches dry, and no Smurf seem able to stand up to them. Death`s Disciples 26 - 28 ***R.V.*** R.V. are still a couple wins in front, but the Disciples are gaining steadily. Will this trend continue? Or will it become a Match to Watch? MurderMechs 2 - 33 T.I.o.M.T. The Islanders have continued to claim wins, but surely MurderMechs will have to hit back soon? Div 7 Renegades 17 - 4 JC`s Rowdy Bunch The Renegades have increased their advantage slightly. But while the Bunch is behind, they are perhaps not out quite yet? Behemoth 12 - 12 Heroes Light Brigade The Behemoths have managed to pull even with the Brigade at a dozen wins each. But how closely matched are the two clans? Will this be decided by an overwhelming margin, or will this become a nervewracking Match to Watch? T.B. 1st K.H. 58 - 1 **R.V.** The Highlanders have upped their tally, while R.V. still only have claimed a single objective. Unless we get some massive screw-up, this battle is all but over. Sacrificial Lambs 36 - 16 M&L A.R.S.E. The Lambs have claimed enough additional wins to have a 2-1 advantage. Can the Smurfs come back, or have they shot their bolt already? Div 8 Death`s Hecklers 65 - 18 Ronins 2 The Hecklers have been hitting hard, and the Ronins had no choiche but to be the prugelknabe. Question here is more how badly the Ronins will be hammered than whether they can tur the fight. Major Steel 44 - 0 I.N.A. The Steelers have a buffer of more than two-score unopposed wins. While the Alliance still might make a strong comeback, the odds of  a successfull change of leadership seem pretty low. *R.V.* 28 - 8 Jagdstaffel 2 R.V. are still way in front, but the Jagdstaffel have reduced their advantage a bit. Can Jagdstaffel come back strongly enough in the end to turn the battle, or is R.V. too strongly entrenched? Karma II 50 - 3 Murdermechs mini Murdermechs have gained a few wins, but with Karma nearly four dozen wins ahead this fight seem all but over. Div 9 Karma 12 - 0 Borg Collective Karma have by now gained a dozen unopposed wins. The odds of the Borgs taking control of the battle seem miniscule now. D.H.o.t.A. 41 - 0 Banditos The Horsemens patrols have continued to round up the Banditos, and thy have still not suffered any casualities. C.D.H. 19 - 0 H.o.G. C.D.H have gained nearly a score unopposed wins, while the H.o.G.s still are in their camp wondering whether to counterattack. Dawn Patrol 33 - 0 Kongregate HG The Dawn patrol foun the HG napping, and inflicted nearly three dozen casualities on them without suffering any return fire.

12-19/11/18
Great start to the week as we headed for Mount Martha to the Pillars, which was just a small rock formation that you could jump off into the water- which we did- once 🤣. Travelled with our mate Jordan and met his girlfriend Sher and their Cambodian friend Kim, who owned the car although Jordan drove, which for a 22year old Australian guy was pretty good. Ale and I decided to jump down (literally) to a nearby beach and put some music on and chilled for a while before using the rocks as a full body exfoliation and making our way back to see our friends. Took the 45minute drive back to Kim’s house and then got the train home, fun day and awesome to get out of the city for a while.
We also checked out the noodle market this week, which I thought would be a quiet affair with maybe 20stalls and 30,000 times more Asians and that would be that, but no no this was a BIG DEAL, maybe 300 stalls, Ale and I walked into a sea of people to meet Jordan and Sher inside the noodle arena 😜. Ale had an amazing rice and beef dish, wagyu beef don’t you know....it’s Japanese if you were thinking ‘wagyu talking about??’ 🤣...ahhh still hilarious! I ate a cheesy waffle thing with southern fried chicken...$17 but I felt like splashing out....why not I’m only going to get 15 hours at work this week (literally) so why not splash out 😕🤪.
Another great thing that happened his weeek is our aerobie arrived so we have been utilising that when the sun shines.
Had a bloody lovely weekend! Firstly after I finished work on Saturday we headed to see our German friends robin and Julia for an Italian....and it was B.e.a utiful! Chicken and mushrooom tortellini for me and a yummy pizza for Ale. As we left the restaurant things took a turn for the worse as I glimpses over at a car and thought someone had placed a Halloween spider on the windscreen but then it hit me...I’m in Australia......RUN!!!!!!
Well we stayed for a photo of the huntsman, who I must say was a lot less scary looking than our spiders, sure it was pretty big but it looked less scary than ours...Ale agrees, they are just less harsh in shape and quite flat and as the picture suggests not black! We quickly took our u we back to the safer suburb of St Kilda to meet or mate alyissa to celebrate her getting a new job, stayed out until 3am but people are honestly worrying he shit out of me and Ale, the whole walk home consisted of talking about the mongaloids out, moving their heads and hands like zombies to rap music or taking selfie videos for like 1hour in the middle of the dance floor...that’s when the sad realisation hit me that a) we’re too old for this kind of establishment now! And b) kids (also a vast majority of adults) these days are literally becoming anti social to appear social on social media....wtf???
Anyway Sunday was legendary, but if drama at the beginning by agreeing with Jordan and co to have a bbq and then co wanton sushi so we wait, then go to buy bbq food and co don’t want a bbq 😡...so Ale and I waltzed into the supermarket to buy bbq food, well burgers. The bbqs were busy but the people were awesome and invited us to join as Carlos (Chilean guy) had actually posted on a fb group saying he was going down to the beach for a bbq and loads of people joined! So we chilled out there for about 6hours playing aerobie, talking, eating and drinking wine with sugar out of a carved melon.....life was made! Took the 5metre stroll to the beach to watch sunset and then took the short walk home! Awesome day. Awesome busy week...apart from work 😜.
