"Vicious" by Daniel Hart, feat. Damir Orascanin
"Recording "Vicious" for Interview With The Vampire Season One, Episode Five at Synchron Stage, Vienna. One of my favorite pieces of music I've written in a long time.
As a violinist who plays a lot of my own parts on my scores, I haven't always been able to trust other violinists to see the architecture of the performance the way I see it. But look at Synchron's Concertmaster Damir Orascanin just slaying those violin solos. An absolute beast. Watching him play gives me life. The whole orchestra killing it, Bernhard conducting the hell out of this piece, shaping what's on paper into something much more.
Shows like Vampire are rare: the amount of trust and positive encouragement coming my way throughout the process, the willingness of the studio to believe in its show runner's vision, allowing us to take some musical risks, some big swings...it's hard to imagine it getting better than Season One was. I feel incredibly lucky that someone gave me this canvas to paint." - Daniel Hart
Synchron Stage Orchestra conducted by Bernhard Voss - Video beautifully captured by Martin Pauser and team - Footage lovingly edited by Alan Del Rio Ortiz - Audio engineered by Bernd Mazagg - Mixed by Danny Reisch

Brick Buildings by kister scheithauer gross architekten und stadtplaner
Twenty-five years ago, kister scheithauer gross completed its first brick building, the Institute for Biology in Halle. The replicated used brick of the façade is situated in the city centre in a self-evident way, and stands there today, still untouched by time. This is the starting point for the exhibition, which presents earlier brick buildings by the firm anew, along with current projects and buildings.
Building in brick implies an ability to adapt to a location and its atmosphere as well as social structures. The regional identity and character of cities are often associated with a specific type of brick. At a time of digital production, brick factories today are almost anachronistic places, where elementary work processes with lots of manual work take place and the brick is given its specific sand-coloured, reddish-orange, or sometimes greenish shade through the firing of the minerals in the clay soil. Each stone is thus a unique specimen and as a haptically rich product also helps the architectural project tell its own story. On the basis of filigree paper models set on brick bases, the exhibition presents eight projects by kister scheithauer gross, which has been designing and working with the sustainable and sensual material for a quarter of a century.
Bernhard-Nocht-Institut, Davidstraße, Hamburg, Germany: photo © H G Esch
The Approach: Each project, each building has its own history of creation. The colour, size, and composition of the bricks form a distinctive unit along with the mortise, which rounds off the individual brick picture with its width and colour. It is necessary to think starting from the building corpus and only then to develop a concept for the brick, and thus design a surface. If a building is not conceived based on its volumes, the façade remains mere wallpaper. The aim is to have the brick develop an architectural effect and become part of the composition as a whole.
In addition to the Leibniz School of Education (LSE), Hannover, the Alfred Wegener Institute (AWI), Bremerhafen, the Centre for Ageing, Reliability and Lifetime (CARL), Aachen, and the Bernhard Nocht Institute (BNI), Hamburg, in the exhibition installation, which in itself is a building layout made of brick, the following projects and buildings are presented:
HolidayInn, Lohsepark, HafenCity, Hamburg, Germany: photo © H G Esch
The HolidayInn in HafenCity in Hamburg is characterized by the interplay of the rhythmic structure of the façade with its columns and pilaster strips in a bluish red-violet brick and the varying arrangement of the window elements, which break up the façade and hence give it a unique dynamic.
The light pink-beige brick of the new BIOM laboratory, teaching, and office building of the University of Bremen visibly freshens up the dark-coloured stone of the surroundings. The thin format of the bricks emphasizes the length of the building and also gives it the necessary lightness.
The new building of the WiSo Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences in Cologne contrasts with the old building with its elegant mortise, but takes up reference to it again with the rhythmic structure and materiality of the façade of brownish-clay-coloured brick.
The ZWEI ensemble of residential buildings in Hannover with its circle geometries gives rise to a dynamic of striving as a result of the rhythmic arrangement of the projecting cornices. The lightbeige- red terracotta clay of the brick gives the impression of ‘hand-processed’ pottery vessels.

The Firm kister scheithauer gross stands for an intensive dialogue between site and typology. This superordinate context is the basis for the development of concrete building sculptures whose symbolic character shapes the site and type from abstract visions.
Johannes Kister und Reinhard Scheithauer established the firm Kister Scheithauer & Partner as young partners in 1992. Since 1997, Susanne Gross has been part of the firm as the third partner, which now operates under the name kister scheithauer gross. She teaches design at the university in Wuppertal, while Johannes Kister teaches at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences at the Bauhaus in Dessau. The firm shaped the campus there with its urban and architectural form to a significant extent.

From its offices in Cologne, Leipzig, and Berlin, nearly 100 architects around Germany tackle the realization and transformation of high-rise buildings and the development of urban-development and interior design concepts. One particular focus is on the planning of highly specialized laboratory and institute buildings for the research landscape in Germany. Two of the four high-security, biosafety level 4 laboratories in Germany, for instance, were thus created by kister scheithauer gross.
Exemplary projects are the Double Church for Two Faiths in Freiburg, the “Siebengebirge” in Cologne, the university campus in Bremerhaven and Cologne, the Händelhaus Karree in Halle/Saale, and the master plan for the Gerling area in Cologne. Further milestones in the history of the firm are the transformation of the Quelle complex by Ernst Neufert in Nuremberg as the second-largest building in the Federal Republic and the new construction of the Laurenz Carré opposite the south portal of the Cologne Cathedral.

Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler (LSSAH), Kaserne Lichterfelde, 17. Dezember 1935

Highlights from MIT Water Night 2014
Just in time for United Nations’ World Water Day, the MIT Water Club held Water Night 2014 on March 20th in the Walker Memorial Hall. The flagship research showcase represented the wide scope of the latest water-related research at MIT, as a few footsteps brought people from topics in desalination and waste water treatment to ocean biochemistry and water policy. A steadily growing crowd milled around the 40 posters at the event, plying the representatives of the research with questions and enjoying local beer and hor-d’oeuvres
Opening remarks came from desalination researcher John H. Lienhard, the Collins Professor of Mechanical Engineering at MIT, director of the Center for Clean Water and Clean Energy at MIT, and faculty advisor of the MIT Water Club. “As you can see just by looking around at these posters,” he said, “there is considerable interest in water here at MIT.” He called attention to MIT’s aggressive effort to develop new technologies to provide clean and sustainable water to the world’s 7 billion people and the vast amount of basic and applied research in hydrology, the water cycle, and coastal ecosystems.
Oceans at MIT highlights from Water Night 2014
Desalination of seawater, an increasingly important source of potable water globally, had a major presence at Water Night. For example, the Karnik group in MIT Microfluidics & Nanofluidics Research Laboratory in the Department of Mechanical Engineering presented their efforts to design more efficient seawater desalination membranes, largely to avoid the enormous energy demands of conventional reverse osmosis methods. Graduate students in the Karnik group, Sean O’Hern and Tarun Jain, described new desalination methods with graphene, a one-atom-thick layer of carbon that exhibits greater water permeability than the standard polymer membranes. And graduate student Jongho Lee, who won “best poster” by audience vote later that evening, shared his group’s analytical model of a novel razor-thin membrane containing nanoscale pores (very, very small holes). This technology relies on the ability of water vapor to flow through the membrane and condense on the other side as purified water. Read more about this newly published desalination work with graphene and nanopore membranes on MIT News.
Phytoplankton in the ocean convert atmospheric carbon dioxide into carbon, which sinks in particles down to the deep ocean, yet the activities of marine bacteria re-release some of that carbon back into the environment. Only a small fraction of carbon makes it to depths where it can’t be exchanged with the atmosphere. Bethanie Edwards, a graduate student in the MIT/WHOI Joint Program and member of Ben Van Mooy‘s lab, is interested in the “chemical conversions” between marine microbes that ultimately impact carbon export in blooms. Using samples harvested on the June 2013 DYEatom Cruise, she found that phytoplankton increase production of chemical agents called “oxylipins” when they are stressed out by low nutrient levels. In turn, the oxylipins triggered marine bacteria to make more nutrients available in the plankton bloom. At Water Night, she presented her lab’s new hypothesis that phytoplankton have chemical control over their bloom’s “happiness:” When nutrients are scarce, phytoplankton ramp up oxylipin production as a way to access more nutrition and prolong a healthy bloom, illuminating one more factor influencing carbon export in the ocean. Read her poster here (PDF).
Rivers are a key geochemical link between land and oceans, pouring freshwater, sediment, nutrients, and salts collected from the land into our oceans. Britta Voss, a graduate student in the MIT/WHOI Joint Program advised by Bernhard Peucker-Ehrenbrink, hopes that by learning something about the geochemical processes on land from the material carried by the river, her group will be able to detect changes from climate change or erosion. Her recent research took place in the pristine Fraser River in southwestern Canada, which supports the world’s largest sockeye salmon run on any single river. She collected a high-resolution time series record of strontium isotopes carried by the river water and showed how the chemical weathering contributions from the source of the Fraser River is greatest during the spring freshet, or the thaw that floods the river each year. This approach may help researchers to anticipate the future conditions of the Fraser’s salmon habitat, which is changing as the spring freshet arrives earlier each year due to global warming. Read about Voss’ research in her entries in the Global Rivers Observatory blog and in her newly published article in WHOI’s Oceanus Magazine: “Of The River and Time.”
Wetlands offer many socio-economical services, as these salt, brackish or freshwater bodies can prevent flooding, filter and purify water, replenish and store groundwater, reduce erosion, protect shorelines, and sustain biodiversity, to name a few. Unfortunately, “cities can’t protect all wetlands from development,” says Roxane Lavoie, postdoc in the MIT Department of Urban Studies and Planning, as she presented her work at Water Night. “So, it’s important to know which wetlands are most intact and valuable to the ecosystem.” She helped develop a decision-aid method based on the MACBETH approach, which allows people to quickly assess the value of the 1,347 wetlands in Quebec. The method builds an index that compares options that are hard to compare. Using the criteria “fragmentation,” “production,” “habitat diversity,” “area,” “natural proportion of surrounding environment” and “rarity,” the method generates a map that ranks wetlands according to ecological value. In the context of competing conservation and development interests, the method takes the inherent subjectivity out of the value judgement because it makes the reasons for the map’s results explicit to everyone involved. “One advantage is that the method encourages more social cohesion,” she said. Learn about Roxane Lavoie’s past work in groundwater management.
There were so many other interesting projects aimed at the social and human welfare dimensions of water research, such as many new ideas to improve access to clean water in developing countries. Here is a description of the projects that were showcased at MIT Water Night 2014 (PDF). Categories include: Desalination, Nanotechnology, Wastewater Treatment, Earth and Oceans, Water and Human Development, Water Policy and Management, and Metering.

Highlights of the 2017 National Arts Festival
National Arts Festival
South Africa’s artists, theatre makers and musicians are responding to the challenges of living in a country in flux with genre-busting work that is provocative, innovative, engaging and entertaining. Some of the best of these productions will be showcased at this year’s National Arts Festival, to be held in Grahamstown from 29 June to 9 July this year.
Theatre Highlights:
Versatile and exciting young theatre makers and artists will break new ground and excavate forgotten histories this year in Grahamstown, premiering a number of new works.
Standard Bank Young Artist Monageng Motshabi’s brand-new play ANKOBIA is set in Kgomodikae, a land where history is forbidden. He uses sound, silence and text to explore the pain of not being allowed to remember – and what happens when children are reminded of our past.
The past exposed is also examined in Nadia Davids’ WHAT REMAINS. Directed by Jay Pather, dance, text and movement combine to tell the story of the unexpected discovery of a slave burial ground and a city haunted by the memory of slavery.
SABAMNYE noMendi, a series of evocative live performances conceptualised and curated by Mandla Mbothwe, goes beyond the theatre walls and into public spaces to investigate and interpret SEK Mqhayi’s poem about the sinking of SS Mendi just off the Isle of Wight in 1917, a tragedy in which more than 600 black South African troops drowned.
There are works with a lighter, funnier touch too with Ben Voss and John van de Ruit co-writing MAMBA REPUBLIC, a rapid-paced satirical sketch-comedy that takes a look at all that is wrong in South Africa. Sylvaine Strike directs the hilarious and poignant TARTUFFE, Molière’s satire at its very best, featuring Craig Morris, Neil McCarthy, Vanessa Cooke and Khutjo Green.

Arena Highlights:
Previous winners of Standard Bank Ovation Awards, which reward productions on the Festival Fringe that show a high standard of creative excellence, are invited to participate in the ARENA programme. Presented by Business and Arts South Africa, this award-winners’ playground includes productions spanning theatre (the irrepressible Roberto Pombo and Joni Barnard in KIDCASINO; Jade Bowers’ BLACK; and Hungry Minds Productions’ REPARATIONS); music (young violinist PENDO MASOTE and Msaki and the Golden Circle’s PLATINUMB HEART); as well as performance art, dance and physical theatre (Phakama Dance Productions’ …ON THE LINE; Alan Parker’s GHOSTDANCE FOR ONE; and AfriArtiK’s DOWN TO EARTH).
Thandazile Radebe
Dance Highlights
The Dance programme is a curious, furious and poetic mix between the past and the present, with many of the works dealing with history and memory. Standard Bank Young Artist Thandazile Radebe leads the way with SABELA, a contemporary African dance piece., while Vincent Mantsoe’s new solo work KonKoriti references an ancient song about pride, arrogance, physical power and selfishness. Former SBYA Award winner Dada Masilo will present her feminist revision of the classical ballet GISELLE, with music especially written by composer Phillip Miller that layers African percussion and voice with the Western classical harp, cello and violin.
A collaboration between Cape Town’s Unmute Dance Company, Johannesburg’s Dance Forum, and Harare’s Tumbuka Dance Company brings BREAKING BORDERS to the Festival stage. Reaching out to each other, this border-breaking piece aims to highlight and negate the tragedy of xenophobia through connection and looking forward.
Abel Selaocoe
Music Highlights
Standard Bank Young Artist Abel Selaocoe returns to South Africa from the UK to astound and delight audiences with his diverse virtuosity, with a performance that includes works ranging from Debussy’s poetic and vivid Cello Sonata in D minor 13 to James Macmillan’s spiritual reflective music as well as foot-stomping klezmer and African style inspired pieces.
Selaocoe will perform with the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra, who make a welcome return to Grahamstown for the annual GALA CONCERT, under the baton of Richard Cock. Their SYMPHONY CONCERT will be conducted by Bernhard Gueller, with Selaocoe and pianist Luis Magalhaës as soloists.
Pianist Charl du Plessis, with Werner Spies on bass and Hugo Radyn on drums, will present famous themes from the Baroque observed through a jazz lens in BAROQUESWING, while NEOLEKTRA with Naomi Tagg will explore new genres for the violin, such as film and gaming music.
Kahn Morbee and Karen Zoid
The best of contemporary music across all genres also gets a look-in on the programme, led by a unique collaboration between Karen Zoid and the Parlotones’ Kahn Morbee. The Soil, who left Grahamstown in 2011 with a Standard Bank Ovation Award as an up-and-coming act, return in 2017 as one of the country’s hottest acts. Also on the line-up are R&B star Jimmy Nevis, Desmond and the Tutus supported by Opposite the Other, and a partnership between Robin Auld and Wendy Oldfield.
Visual & Performance Arts Highlights:
Dineo Seshee Bopape
The work of this year’s selected Performance and Visual artists exquisitely combine the historic and the contemporary. In EXCERPTS FROM THE PAST, for example, Sethembile Msezane taps into the red-hot conversation about colonial conquest of land in Africa in a performance narrated by sound clips from the colonial and apartheid eras and our current context.
Francois Knoetze’s VIRTUAL FRONTIERS uses virtual reality panoramas and immersive sound pieces to tell stories of the past, present and imagined future of Grahamstown. In FOOTPRINTS, curated by Thembinkosi Goniwe, Andrew Tshabangu both contributes towards and subverts Johannesburg’s iconoography.
Spearheading the Performance Art programme is 2017 Standard Bank Young Artist Award winner for the genre, Dineo Seshee Bopape. The 2017 Standard Bank Young Artist for Visual Art, Beth Diane Armstrong, explores scale, materiality, process and change in her award-commissioned solo exhibition, in perpetuum [SUBS: all lower case].
One of South Africa’s most respected artists, Mmakgabo Helen Sebidi makes a welcome return to Grahamstown, after winning the Standard Bank Young Artist Award in 1989. In THEY ARE GREETING, a series of paintings, prints and sculptures, Sebidi continues the dialogue between tradition and the contemporary, the material and the spiritual, Africa and the West.
Two exhibitions pay tribute to South Africa’s musical heritage in SEPTEMBER JIVE, co-ordinated and supported by the Alliance Française: SA Musical Graphics is a fascinating selection of album sleeves that offer a reflection on the country’s social history through the lens of the music industry; and My Favourite Sounds, which combines 47 portraits of musical personalities shot by Dwayne Kapula with online interviews.
Film Highlights
John Pilger’s – The Coming War On China
This year’s Film Festival highlights film’s role as a disruptor of mainstream narrative. Social critique has always been currency for film and documentary makers, and the line-up includes movies about conflict and war (John Pilger’s The Coming War On China, Wolfgang Staudte’s The Murderers Among Us); resistance (Michael Verhoeven’s The White Rose); and politics, freedom and dissension (Akong – A Remarkable Life; The Hidden Sky by Argentinian director Pablo Cesar).
Tribute will be paid to Freddy Ogetrop, a film librarian at the Cape Provincial Film Library, with a screening of some of the treasures he collected over 40 years at the library, including the very rare film by Marcel Ophuls, A Sense of Loss.
Powerful new South African cinema includes Kalushi: The Story of Solomon Mhlangu, Meg Rickard’s Tess, Daryne Joshua’s Noem My Skollie, and SifisoKhanyile’s Uprize!, which explores the world that shaped the students of 1976.
Standard Bank Jazz Festival Highlights
Benjamin Jephta
The Standard Bank Jazz Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary this year with a programme that’s stronger than ever, entrenching its place at the centre of South Africa’s jazz calendar. It includes the 2017 Standard Bank Young Artist for Jazz Benjamin Jephta, who, at 24, is already one of South Africa’s premier double bass and electric bass players, the programme brings world-class musicians from all over the globe to Grahamstown. Jazz enthusiasts can look forward to seeing ESTAFEST from the Netherlands, South African icons Judith Sephuma and Kyle Shepherd, as well as Marcus Wyatt’s new project BOMBSHELTER BEAST, and many others.
Family Fare Highlights
When Lion Had Wings 2016 © Maryatta Wegerif http://www.maryattawegerif.com
The National Arts Festival is not just for grown-ups – there is plenty to entertain and excite young ones too. The Jungle Theatre Company brings the fantastical WHEN LION HAD WINGS to Grahamstown this year. Based on an ancient Khoi Khoi myth about overcoming fear to take back personal power, the production uses daring stilt characterisations, animal masks, original music and a combination of English, Afrikaans, isiXhosa and Nama language to explore this traditional folktale.
Sisonke Yafele, Ayanda Nondlwana and Mandisi Heshu in the South African production of THE GRUFFALO
The South African production of THE GRUFFALO will return from a national tour to delight young theatre-goers. With an all-Grahamstown cast, and showcasing costumes and props made in the town, the run will signal a homecoming for the National Arts Festival-produced show.
UJ’s student theatre offering, JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH, is also sure to lure the young and young-at-heart, while daily storytelling, workshops, Think!Fest talks on child and family issues, highlighting the 100th anniversary of Child Welfare SA Grahamstown, plus a plethora of Fringe shows will keep the Family Fare venues buzzing.
Student Theatre Highlights
Nyanga – Photo: CuePix/Madeleine Chaput. National Arts Festival 2016
The Fallist movement and other protests last year put student activism firmly on to the news agenda and into the centre of conversation in South Africa. Each year, universities and colleges are invited to participate in the National Arts Festival and the 2017 line-up is as wide-ranging and complex as the issues faced by young South Africans – there’s revolt and contestation (University of Pretoria’s BLOOD WEDDING, Wits Theatre/WSOA and Theatre and Performance Division’s MMU), dance (Oakfields College’s 4), a focus on black women (Gender Unit of the Western Cape’s THE CITIZEN, Sol Plaatjie University Drama Group’s LEROTHODI LA SEBUKWABUKWANE), moral dilemma and identity (University of the Free State’s SOVERIGN, AFDA’s ZENITH and AFDA Cape’s THE COUCH); as well as sex and sexuality (Market Theatre Laboratory’s POP iCHERRI and Rhodes University’s CULT CLIT). Tshwane University of Technology’s MOLORA uses a highly physical performance vocabulary to express the textual nuances in Yael Farber’s adaptation of the Greek classical tragedy, The Oresteia.
Eastern Cape Showcase highlights:
Lwanda Gogwana
Mindful of its home in the Eastern Cape, the National Arts Festival will once again celebrate its rich heritage by showcasing and highlighting the work of crafters, jazz musicians, indigenous musicians and dancers, visual artists and writers from the eight districts of the Province. The discerning festival goer will enjoy an authentic Eastern Cape experience offered by the Department of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture through its development programmes and its celebration of excellence. The focus this year is on the centenary celebration of the life of struggle stalwart Oliver Reginald Tambo. In preparation for the Eastern Cape Showcase, young artists will play an active role in a number of build-up activities during June (Youth Month).
The Dakawa Music Programme will highlight the revitalization of this treasured project. Emerging talent will be given an opportunity to perform alongside established performers such Dumza Maswana, Lwanda Gogwana and Titi Luzipo. A flamboyant platform is available at the Dakawa Art Centre for Eastern Cape artists.
Fingo Festival
Fingo Festival Highlights:
An independent, community-led event that runs concurrently with the Festival (4 – 8 July), this year’s Fingo Festival offers a wide variety of children’s activities, live performances, concerts and conversations. All shows are free and the 2017 programme, which includes the OR Tambo Memorial Lecture and the ever-popular Around Hip Hop Session, will provide visitors with more than enough reasons to attend.
Fingo Festival is funded by the Eastern Cape Department of Sports, Recreation Arts and Culture and the National Arts Festival.

Demolition or sustainable structure renewal and revitalization while preserving the design language and context? When a holistic approach is taken to a building’s life cycle, rehabilitation is clearly more sustainable in terms of ecology and energy use. Demolition always means a release of ‘grey energy‘ – the primary energy invested when a building is erected.

TCHOBAN VOSS Architekten deal intensively with the subject of re-use and revitalization of existing buildings and present in the exhibition numerous different ways conscious and sustainable treatment of existing structures may not only preserve urban diversity but also develop it further, taking into account the relevant historical and urban-development context. The original function of a building determines the scale and structure in which a new matrix of uses and an architectural solution are created. National and international examples by TCHOBAN VOSS Architekten are presented vividly in an exhibition installation.
Background: The architectural language of post-war Modernism has a substantial influence on how our cities look. Historically speaking, buildings, which were erected during this period and are now showing their age, often possess considerable significance but are for the most part not subject to conservation status. From the investor’s perspective, it often seems better economic sense to tear down an existing building and replace it with a new structure, although it has been proven that refurbishment is significantly more sustainable from an ecological and energetic point of view.

The approach of TCHOBAN VOSS Architekten: The office has been committed to sustainable and respectful revitalization for years, taking into account the history, architectural language, and role and impact in urban space of a building. This attitude and approach has been implemented in numerous national and international projects and was already the subject of „The Java Tower“, the first exhibition of TCHOBAN VOSS Architekten at Aedes in 1997. Growing appreciation of existing built structures and an increasing awareness of issues such as sustainability, resource conservation, efficient use of energy and space, and the circular economy have led to works of architecture currently threatened with demolition being increasingly considered for possible re-use, as the examples by TCHOBAN VOSS Architekten demonstrate.

After the revitalisation, the Berlin office building Ernst-Reuter-Platz 6 can once again assume its important urban role in the overall ensemble of the square. Central for the architects was not only structural, but also sustainability in design, the preservation of the architectural language of the building.
With its new façade, Blissestrasse 5 is an example of a contemporary, sustainable approach and a conscious engagement with the existing architecture from the 1970s that characterises the city of Berlin in this district.
The cube of the Nikolaikontor, built in 1959, had no reference to the historical urban context before the revitalisation. The premise here was to reclaim a building that reflects the historic urban structure while preserving the substance and at the same time providing a contemporary façade.
There is considerable potential in industrial zones from the 1960s and 1970s too, many of which are currently undergoing revitalization. At that time built on the peripheries without a direct reference to a specific urban-planning context, their shells can now be architecturally reinterpreted and put to a contemporary use.
For the Langenzipen commercial and residential building an abandoned industrial shell was further developed.
The shell structure of the former Rossiya factory in St. Petersburg was reused for the Benois office building,
The Aedes exhibition presents these complex issues of Re-Use in an informative, vivid and stimulating exhibition installation.
TCHOBAN VOSS Architekten design, plan and build for national and international clients in the public and private sectors. With around 160 highly qualified, interdisciplinary employees and many years of experience, the company with its offices in Hamburg, Berlin and Dresden offers architecturally and functionally sustainable solutions for a wide variety of building tasks at home and abroad.
