todays assignment: figure out how to fit hiroto (ares) in my au where ares happens in highschool after the og events
#because og hiroto is 1) an adult 2) dead and has been for a very long time#like... the aliea stuff is good. its awful but its an interesting story. esp hiroto (og) and his relationship with kira#being made into kiras dead son... changing his name to fit the role etc etc#like its completely incompatible with ares and its version of hiroto (same age as the kids + very much alive etc..)#but... i love the bad boy trio!!!!!!!!#but... i cant change hirotos circumstances to make the hiroto+kira (og) plotline work#bc his rare moments of serious characterization DEPEND on being kiras bio son#unless i guess... hiroto (ares) could be kiras 3rd child... discarded after kira finds an orphan who looks exactly#like his darling dead firstborn#i dont know. i dont knowwww i dont think it really works#i need to think more about it but god i dont wanna rewatch aresorion again just to understand him better LMFAO
