TSG LOVES YOU WORKSHOP

Above: Invites went out to member businesses in January, and the USPS knocked it out of the park with these stamps, they are soooo cute! And perfect for our Valentine’s Day workshop!

The day of the workshop quickly approached. Snacks and breakfast was secured with Beetnix. They brought a new recipe for a breakfast bar with almond butter and then one of my favorite cold pressed juices from  their regular line up, Good Karma. That seemed fitting considering we were there to collaborate, communicate and cultivate relationships.

Above: the EAT MEAT wall at Smith Brothers Butcher Shop served our needs well for presentations and visual interest. Tables were set with  printed placemats from a work by Sarah Brich, notebooks hand wax stamped with the TSG seal, Le Pens and Work Hard engraved pencils from Lily Bay Studio + Bazaar.  Small beaker glass bud vases were filled with flowers from Flower General.

Above: Erica and Caty from Flourish Collaborative share their GOLDEN CIRCLE worksheet with the group. This exercise helps you to define your WHY and provides you a statement that clearly and concisely lets people engage with you and your business.

We finished the day with a wholesale panel with Mary Liz from M Liz Jewelry, Emily from Mamie Ruth and Elizabeth from Satchel. These three shared their best practices, tips and tricks for those looking to get into the wholesale market.

We then enjoyed a wonderful lunch from Smith Brothers, chosen for each attendee and finished with Smith Brothers signature bacon chocolate chip cookie from A Squad Bake Shop! We had a WONDERFUL day and I can’t wait to do it again!

Smith Brothers Butcher Shop had this red pepper bisque that was so delicious, garnished with some amazing croutons! Beetnix not only serves delicious food, they do it on persimmon tables! Finally, shopSCAD has this piece ‘Birch’ by artist, Christine Sajecki.

Lewis and they are wonderful colorful collection! Alison Seeger was sewing this colorful silk stripe fabric into a chair cushion. Lily Bay has this wonderful paint by number perfect to brighten up a guest room or study!

White Whale Craft Ales currently has Argus Ciderkin  on draft now for filling up your growler.  Flourish Collaborative gave Lovelane a new mark and we just love the heart as the o!  Nourish citrus splash fizzies are wonderful bright and citrus-y. Christina Edwards tarot card inspired series includes this guy with  a couple perfectly placed persimmon stripes. shopSCAD artist, Honor Bowman has this small work called #latergram 1: Guardrail Marker available for purchase. 

MARCH LOVES: AZALEA PINK

Above: Christina Edwards’ piece E Ocean Mountain is an oil on plexiglass original work measuring 30″ x 10″ and featuring the most beautiful translucent azalea pink.

Above, from top left, clockwise: Pink and green are a natural combo since they are complimentary colors. In this shopSCAD original artwork they mimic nature in calla lilies. Ely from De Colores Cookies y Mas strikes again with her cookies that are as tasty as they are pretty! Lily Bay has some one of a kind weavings from Off the Loom  and this one features that acid green and pink combo that I love! Libbie Summers styled and modeling a satchel fringe cuff in metallic azalea pink! TapSnap green screen backdrop of donuts and lime green sure is fun! Paprika Southern captured this azalea wrap dress from Custard in their spring fashion feature.

Shaver has a whole display celebrating Women’s Month but this cover with it’s azalea title caught our eye! Lily Bay carries lovely jewelry like this piece with azalea drops. Lettee’s uses recycled materials to make these fun tassels for their customers as a fun gift! Beetnix pitaya bowl is the PERFECT shade of azalea pink and yummmmmmy!

Above:  Lily Bay carries Rifle Paper Co. that includes this spring floral notebook collection that i just LOVE! Mamie Ruth exclusive print for Belk includes some pink hibiscus! Pure Barre has these amazing leggings and ponytail holders as well as toe socks for you to rock the barre in peppy pink!

Mamie Ruth Ringleader bralette and shorts are perfect stripe partners without being too matchy matchy!

Mamie Ruth’s Drug Rug Vest is so fun and funky with bold stripes! Christina Edwards’ series focused on vintage circus imagery features some red stripes on a few images. Ely of De Colores Cookies did the classic striped snow cone in cookie form and it is just toooooo sweet! Bleu Companies has this gorgeous Byron Lars dress with striped bodice that is just to die for! Beetnix’s unicorn bowl has a wonderful stripping on top of fruits and toppings like bee pollen, hemp seed granola & coconut.

MAMIE RUTH at BELK : LAUNCH PARTY

Last night brought me the Oglethorpe Mall. Which to be fair, isn’t really a place I head too often, I like to live the message of TSG to support local. But yesterday, well, we WERE celebrating LOCAL! Emily Bargeron, owner and designer of the wonderfully boho clothing line, Mamie Ruth. Emily was one of the winners in Belk’s Southern Designer’s Showcase. This means that Emily got to showcase her Belk exclusive line with models, a DJ, wine, food, flower crowns, and juice from Beetnix in the Savannah store! The event was wonderfully fun and the clothing looked AMAZING! I love the split culottes, the pom pom shorts and of course the graphic tees in Mamie Ruth are always winners! You can head to Belk to get these items or you can buy online too! Hurry though, limited runs of all styles!

Beetnix had samples of their Mamie Mimosa Blend from the yoga + mimosas event held at Mamie Ruth | M Liz Studios once a month! It was YUMMMMY!

Finally, Audrey Wagner with Flower General | Carlstadts was there faciliating flower crown makings. I was a real life snapchat filter!
