Dead ass want to thank my friend who pushed me to go resolve some of this boston trauma which in turn enabled me to watch hockey again because I still got to have so many games with Jack at the tail end of this season but he struggled enough with getting why I was devastated over bergys retirement as is, I have no idea how I'd explain a) the concept of a regional sports channel b) why our play-by-play guy was the absolute best

#throwbaxk to when i found out abt bergys retirement while in the office #we went out to get coffee #i burst into tears when we were hardly out the door #and when he asked what happened #he misheard me and thought i said bergy had killed himself??#(i think I was acting like somebody had died to his credit(#but then i had to explain if that had been the case i would not be there talking to him #bc id be too busy throwing *myself* into the thames
