wind waker is such a living breathing memory of ocarina of time i'm so serious. ESPECIALLY inside ganon's tower. to the hero of winds that pig's face he sees on every door is just that: an ugly pig's face. to the player, if they've played ocarina of time before? that's a whole slap in the face. a reminder that this IS the ganon(dorf) from ocarina of time. it's the Same Guy. like you look at that face and you go. i remember fighting that. i remember that timeline. i remember how happy everyone was at the end. now do you remember how it was flooded and turned into this world below the sea that you're standing in now? do you remember how all but the few who escaped to the mountains died? do you remember the end of one game and the beginning of this one. head in my hands.

A field of dead Russians that were sent in to storm the Ukrainian front lines but were easily cut down. Russian human wave assaults go on day after day in Bakhmut just like they did back in ww2. The human price for Putins invasion is staggering and the average Russian has no clue to the actual losses going on seven days a week. 

What if the carnival had an event where they turned a large area into one of those games where you ride around in a little tank and shoot each other with foam balls?

[🌶️]: mienna certainly isn’t one for grudges, but she certainly has a capacity for hate! and while she hasn’t met a lot of dreamlanders, she’s heard a few stories about the marx incident and the destruction of galactic nova. yeah, she doesn’t like him. at all. luckily for him, she doesn’t visit dreamland often enough to attack him on sight!

[🍻]: it varies depending on who she’s with! with people she’s less familiar with, she’s far more quiet. but with her closer friends like magolor or galacta knight, she tends to get a bit louder. not so loud that she stands out, though. overall, she leans towards sort-of quiet.

[🥯]: this one might be somewhat expected, but she used to have a bit of an obsession with galacta knight. or his legacy, at least. more fangirly than unhealthy, but it still affected their initial relationship. the idea of a star-destroying warrior sealed off somewhere in space was truly exciting to her! imagine meeting him - seeing for yourself whether his legend is true and deserved, or simply blown out of proportions. and she did get to meet him. he even ended up living with her. but seeing him slowly relax into his new life on popstar showed her that while he was a legend, he was still mortal. he might've been the greatest warrior in the galaxy, but he still had soft parts, and passions other than fighting, and a heart. she still adores him quite a bit, but after knowing him a bit better she knows that his legacy doesn't shape him as much as she thought it would.

[🍐]: social standing! she's been working as floralia's royal historian for quite some time, so she's paid pretty well. it doesn't land her above upper-middle class, though. but mienna's pretty satisfied with where she is in society!

When you’re sitting down and the witch either climbs into your lap or sits behind you to hold you without a word. Wearing a pleasant smile as she chooses her unarm herself and allow these hands to do something affectionate instead of disastrous. To have such power cradle you from either side. Envelop you; and for a little while, forget about all the things that aren’t the two of you and the single breath shared between your bodies.

I like that Rhys pointed this out because I see Elain handling her trauma more similarly to Feyre’s early stages, where she participates with others in things but is still not fully there.
