one big thing that sucks when watching random manga rec videos or even any weeb-adjacent stuff is that there's a very high chance that the guy making the video is a casual misogynist

#qq posts #still rolling around my head the times i hear stuff like #'this character is very annoying' <-the character is a girl thats not a meek waifu to the MC #or 'this female character is not like other female leads' <- is badass but still subordinate to men #or 'not like a shoujo protagonist' <- has a very narrow assumption of shoujo and just assumes its all 'romance trash'#basically makes me never trust their opinion especially if its stuff with femMCs
