Sentai Filmworks To Launch US Theatrical Screenings For Revue Starlight The Movie

  Sentai Filmworks has announced plans to screen the Revue Starlight feature film adaptation, Revue Starlight The Movie in select US theaters later this Summer following a planned premiere during the Anime Central convention being held next month in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois. Sentai describes the film:

  Revue Starlight The Movie picks up soon after the series left off and opens the curtain a new, original story set during Karen Aijo and Hikari Kagura’s third year at Seisho Music Academy, a performing arts school for young women who aspire to the heights of on-stage stardom. In the next chapter of their theatrical lives, these young women will face one another on the battlefield of the stage, where song, dance and thrilling swordplay collide to illustrate the rich emotional narratives of the film’s protagonists. Fans of Revue Starlight won’t want to miss the next chapter of Karen and Hikari’s story, which brings to life even more of the high-flying musical numbers and rich emotionality of the beloved original series.

  The list of currently scheduled theaters is below, and Sentai has also opened a request form to request a film screening in a specific location, with the film's limited engagement running on June 5 and 6, 2022.

More US Apple Stores reclosing this week including locations in Florida, Mississippi, Texas, Utah

Apple has been gradually reclosing many of its reopened US stores in states swept by a significant rise in new COVID-19 infections. This week, more stores are reclosing in Florida, Mississippi, Texas, and Utah.

At least 16 stores across the affected areas will be closed to new customers starting July 1. Apple says customers with existing online orders and previously scheduled in-store Genius Support appointments are welcome through July 2. The new locations add to 32 previous reclosures announced by Apple in 3 waves beginning on June 19 and extending across Arizona, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas. One additional store in the UK has also reclosed as the city of Leicester locked down again. All reclosed stores remain closed with no projected reopening date, even as Apple continues to reopen other locations in the US, Canada, and the UK this week.

Several states have scaled back their reopening efforts as the COVID-19 crisis worsens across the US. Apple says it constantly monitors local health data to determine when it will reopen or reclose a store. The company has continued to modify the level of service offered at each location based on the conditions. All reopened stores still require masks, temperature checks, and the comprehensive social distancing measures Apple outlined this spring.
