I have completed the RPM Challenge for 2024, which means I have a new album out on Bandcamp.

It’s called Nightlife, due to the fact that it was mostly made during the late night post-work hours of February, and it’s a mix of varying types of electronic tracks, many of them containing neurobasses, because neurobasses are my specialty.

Some of it is aggressive and in-your-face, some of it is somewhat chill, but I do feel like I managed to make something cohesive, and I’m quite pleased with that.

It’s ten tracks long and clocks in at just over 37 minutes of playtime.

Also @secret--psalms--saturn did the album artwork for it, and it’s pretty cool.

In the midst of the whirlwind 'Faith In The Future' tour, and under the shadow of a disastrous hailstorm at Red Rocks that led to fan injuries just days prior, Louis Tomlinson delivered a stellar performance in Vancouver at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre on June 26th, 2023. It was a night filled with heart, energy, and music that created an atmosphere of unity and resilience in the face of adversity.

Tomlinson, the former One Direction member, started the concert with an electrifying rendition of "The Greatest." This poignant opening number served as an uplifting affirmation of strength and set the tone for an evening of celebration, solidarity, and cathartic release.

Personal skating update:

Coach passed me. It feels a little like pitty pass as my backspin, while improving, barely exsists.

Take away from today:

- sit spin is improving but needs to be lower (coach says it will probably take another 6 months. I can live with that). Don't rush/force the entry.

- need to practice bringing my leg into the cross position more. Good thing is I'm starting to do it. Work on check out

- everything else was largely fine i mostly just need to be more patient with entries of things and get a bit more flow on my right hand power 3s.

I've started asking around about coaches. But I won't approach any until I get my finances into order.

I've got a short list of four.

Main things I'm looking for:

- coaches on a Wednesday morning

- very technical and good at explaining the technical side of skating

- patient and good with adult beginners/students

Honestly I'm not sure what else I need other than hopefully getting along with them as well.
