ayahuascafoundation: Smoke baths are another treatment used in the complex science of Shipibo plant medicine in the Amazon rainforest of Peru. Used to remove dark or negative energies, they help to purify the aura. You can learn more about them in the upcoming Netflix series Down to Earth with Zac Efron. In the last episode, Zac and his co-star, Darin Olien, visit the Ayahuasca Foundation! It was such a pleasure meeting Zac and Darin and the crew. They were all truly Down to Earth people and the message of the series is one that really resonates, about living healthy lives as individuals, communities, and ecosystems. Ayahuasca is a vine that grows in the western Amazon rainforest.  It has been used for centuries by the indigenous people as the main ingredient of a special medicinal brew that expands sensory perception providing access to realms normally inaccessible due to biological limitations.  What is possible when these realms are accessed is truly mind blowing, and demonstrates how little we know and understand about reality.  We are like minnow in a tide pool, pretending we know the ocean.  For more information: www.ayahuascafoundation.org
