It's moments like this that make my designing heart beat fast! I've had dark gray cabinets in my mind for a while and this kitchen is getting them! My painters looked at me sideways when I told them my color choice but this granite brought my vision home! Love it when that happens!! The speckled granite will dress the custom built island and the crisp white will be installed on the peremiter cabinets. A complementary tile backsplash will brighten the entire space and provide the most yummy contrast to the gray cabinets. Are you following this flip? Remember the adjoining bathroom I mentioned before? By moving the tub to the back wall (where the master shower used to be) I created a larger hall bath. I couldn’t have asked for a better layout to work with and couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out! P.S. This shotgun master bath (swipe for the before) wasn’t just terribly outdated, it was tiny and dark. I was able to create a spacious master suite by removing the wall and moving the closet to the other side of the room. I tapped into the existing plumbing from the adjoining bath and stole 12 inches of it’s floor space...a foot makes a HUGE difference! Pocket doors were aligned with the custom built vanity so when the doors are open the bath melts into the bedroom, making it feel so much bigger! The frosted glass doors offer privacy when closed and add style to the whole space. I kinda want to just hang out in there, y’all!
