Sister Grimborn Part 3 ~Hiccup x Reader~
Your name: submit What is this?
You said goodnight to Heather and followed Hiccup back to his hut. The hardest part was over. You’d survived Astrid Hofferson. The rest of the team wasn’t going to be too much trouble. Snotlout and the twins were idiots and Fishlegs was generally kindhearted and wouldn’t be too hard on you. At least that’s what Hiccup promised you.
Hiccup’s hut was just as you expected. Simple, no extreme decorations or bright colors. You quickly spotted his work area, cluttered with papers and sketches of different inventions he hadn’t built yet. On the back wall,  you saw multiple prototypes of a tail fin for Toothless, a few you had already seen when the Riders would attack your brothers’ camp. You walked over to Hiccup’s work area. You admired the drawings on the walls and all over the desk. You’d never seen such genius. The ideas Hiccup could come up with were amazing.
You were snapped out of your thoughts when Hiccup cleared his throat behind you. He gave you a nervous smile as you turned to face him. “I know it’s not much…” He started. You shook your head and walked over to him. “It’s wonderful, Hiccup. Suits you perfectly.” You replied, giggling. He grinned and nodded his head in the direction of the steps near the the back. “You can sleep up here if you like. Toothless wont mind if I share with him. Will you, bud?” He asked, turning to the Night Fury who’d just heated up his space with plasma and curled into his sleeping position. Toothless let out a low groan that sounded very much like a complaint. You laughed loudly as Hiccup frowned at his dragon. “Gee, thanks Toothless.” He muttered. “Looks like you’re on the floor tonight, Hiccup.” You teased. He rolled his eyes at you playfully but began setting up a space for himself next to the base of the stairs.
“Hiccup, I was joking.” You sighed. You extended your hand to him. He looked at it then back at you, confused. “I..don’t understand.” He said, nervously. You sighed again and rolled your eyes. “I’m not kicking you out of your own bed, silly. C’mon, we can share.” Hiccup’s eyes widened at your words. “Uhh..a-are you sure? I-I don’t, um, mind.” You smiled at his nervousness and shook your hand, gesturing for him to just take it. “Hiccup, it’s fine. Just come to bed.” Hiccup slowly took your hand and let you lead him up to the small loft area where his bed was.
You started to pull off the shirt and “Grimborn trademarked” spiked shoulder armor you were wearing, leaving you in the wrapping you wore around your torso. You sat down and pulled off your boots. You gathered your clothes and set them next to the stairs before glancing at Hiccup. He hadn’t moved and stood frozen staring at you, his face bright pink and his mouth slightly open.
“Hiccup? Are you alright?” You questioned. Hiccup nodded slowly. “Uh huh…y-yeah. I-I just wasn’t expecting you to get….undressed.” You giggled at his stuttering. “What? Do you actually sleep in all that?” You asked, gesturing to his clothes. He looked down at his outfit and shrugged. “I mean..yeah. Don’t really have much else to sleep in.” “Doesn’t that get hot?” You asked, wondering how someone could sleep in leather clothes and be comfortable. Hiccup chuckled softly and rubbed the back of his neck. “Well Berk is cold most of the year and I’m just so used to it. I don’t really mind that much, I guess.” You made a face, not liking the idea of sleeping in leather pants. “It’s much warmer where I’m from. My brothers and I are used to really only wearing one layer. Aside from armor obviously.” You paused before sighing and looking at him. “Would you at least take off the shirt? The long sleeves are killing me and it’s gonna get real hot with our combined body heat.”
Hiccup swallowed hard but nodded. He undid the buckles on his brown vest before shrugging it off along with his shoulder guards. You watched as he tossed them next to your discarded clothes. He reached down and started to pull off his red shirt when he paused, looking over at you. He blushed as you sat on the bed watching him. “Do you mind?” He asked. You grinned and shook your head. “No.” You answered simply, biting your bottom lip. He blushed harder and looked down at the floor. He pulled the shirt over his head and ran his hand through his hair, smoothing it out. You grinned and beckoned him with your finger. “C’mere you.” You purred. Hiccup grinned back and leaned forward to kiss you as he climbed into the bed.
You laid down and let him rest on top of you. His arms were positioned on either side of your head, holding him up. He looked into your eyes with a gentle smile. You reached your hands up and held his face, pulling him down to into another kiss. You enjoyed the feeling of his lips on yours, finally able to relax. Not having to worry about your brothers or their men finding you, not sneaking away from the rest of the Riders. You knew the danger that was coming for you all but you were determined not to think about that now. Now you just wanted to enjoy being with Hiccup.
Hiccup rolled next to you and reached down to take your hand in his. “I’m glad you’re here with us, Y/N. With me.” He said, softly. You grinned and squeezed his hand gently. “So am I, Hiccup.” He turned his head towards you and pushed a few loose strands of your hair away from your face before kissing your forehead. Your cheeks turned light pink at his touch, causing him to grin. The two of you laid there in silence for a few minutes before Hiccup let out a content hum. “This is nice.” He sighed. “Yeah it is.” You agreed. You turned and rested your head on his chest. His arm came around you, holding you to him. “Tomorrow, I’ll take to the stables so you can meet the other dragons. Gonna have to make sure they like you if you’re gonna join us.” You heart leaped in your chest. You sat up quickly and looked at Hiccup with wide eyes. “I get to meet the dragons??” You asked, excitedly. Hiccup laughed, loving how excited you were. “Of course. We also have to find one for you tomorrow too.”
You let out an excited and squeal and collapsed on Hiccup, wrapping him in a crushing hug. “I’m so excited!” You exclaimed. Hiccup chuckled and moved you into a more comfortable spot. “My possible broken ribs and I can see that.” You giggled and rested your head on his chest again. “Sorry.” You quickly apologized. “It’s okay. Just try to get some sleep. Big day in the morning. And Toothless and I get up early.”
You nodded and nuzzled yourself against Hiccup’s warm chest. You closed your eyes, your mind racing wildly with thoughts of meeting the dragons and finally getting one of your own. And you’d get to spend more time with Hiccup as he helped you train it. You absolutely couldn’t wait. Getting to sleep had never been so difficult.

Sister Grimborn Part 2~Hiccup x Reader for peter-parkers-favourite-girl~
Your sister Grimborn was sooo good I was wondering if you could do a second part to it where they arrive at the edge and the dragon riders see them and where Viggo and riker learn that you left them
Sister Grimborn Part 1: https://theplaid-wearingmoose.tumblr.com/post/184602106906/sister-grimborn-hiccup-x-reader-for
Your name: submit What is this?
Heather was surprised to see you on the back of Toothless. “Are you sure this is a good idea, Hiccup? They won’t be too happy when they see her with us.” She warned. “It’ll be alright. They didn’t trust you much at first either and look how that turned out.” Hiccup replied. Heather glanced at you, then back at Hiccup, unsure of what to say. “Besides, you and I will help convince them she’s not like her brothers.”
~Viggo’s Camp~
“What do you mean she’s gone?!”
“I-I’m sorry, Viggo. She isn’t by the lake where she usually is. There’s no sign of her anywhere.”
The terrified man narrowly avoided a knife to the skull as Viggo launched it across his tent. He stood in silence for a minute, his head bowed and his fists resting on the table in front of him. “Find her. And bring her to me immediately once you have. Now!” He growled. The hunter exited quickly as Ryker entered the tent, a calm expression on his face. “What was all that about?” He asked. Viggo sighed and lifted his head. “It seems that our sister has disappeared, brother. No one has seen her since she went for her nightly swim. Apparently there is no trace of her.”
Ryker pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. “That little runt is always getting into trouble.” Viggo rolled his eyes at Ryker. “I know intelligence isn’t your strong suit, brother, but try to think about this logically. I don’t believe this is a coincidence. Y/N disappears right after I show her our plans of attack on the Dragon Riders.” Ryker narrowed his eyes at his younger brother. “You think she betrayed us?” Viggo was quiet for a minute, not wanting to consider that as a possibility. “She wouldn’t be so foolish as to betray us. But then again, she wouldn’t be so careless as to let herself be captured either...” Viggo trailed off. He turned away from Ryker, lost in thought. One of the hunters rushed into the tent, out of breath from running. “Viggo, we...found something! Dragon tracks....Right beside the lake...where your sister was.” He panted. Viggo whirled around, fire in his eyes. A low growl escaped his throat. “Hiccup...”
~Dragon’s Edge~
As you neared the Edge, you felt your nerves return. You held onto Hiccup a little tighter when the large volcano came into view. He placed one hand on top of yours and turned his head back to you, trying to comfort you as much as he could. “It’ll be alright. Don’t worry.” You rested your head on his back and took a deep breath. Toothless and Windshear landed quietly. Hiccup slid down to the ground and reached his arms up to help you down. Heather walked over and hugged you. “You’ll be fine.” She promised. You nodded and took Hiccup’s hand. You let him lead you to the main hall, relieved to find it empty.
“So far so good.” Hiccup teased, trying to make you less worried. He gestured for you to sit down and quickly found you something to drink. Heather sat across from you and gave you a gentle smile. “I’m really happy you came with us, Y/N. I’ve been really worried about you there since I left.” She said. “Viggo was pretty pissed when he discovered you joined the Dragon Riders. I’m surprised he trusted me at all considering how much time we spent together.” You admitted. Hiccup sat next to you and placed his hand on your knee. “You’re safe here now. That’s what’s important.” You smiled and looked over at Heather. You frowned as she looked behind you, her face paling slightly. “Umm, may be temporary.”
“WHAT in Thor’s name is she doing here?!”
You whirled around in your seat, coming face to face with a very pissed off Astrid Hofferson. Axe in hand, she stormed toward you. Hiccup quickly leapt from his seat and stood between you and Astrid. “Okay A-Astrid can you calm down for one second. We can explain everything. Just lower the axe.” Hiccup spoke in a calming voice. Unfortunately, it had little effect. Astrid’s eyes never left yours and she was glaring at you hard. “You’ve got 10 seconds to explain why you brought Y/N Grimborn to our base, Hiccup.”
While Hiccup and Heather explained everything, you watched Astrid go through several emotions. Hiccup handed her the plans you’d drawn out. “How do we even know these are real, Hiccup?? She could be lying to us right now!” Hiccup stood beside you and wrapped his arm around your waist. “Because I trust her, Astrid. Heather trusts her. Even Toothless and Windshear trust her! She is nothing like Viggo and Ryker, I can promise you that.” You decided you had to say something in your own defense. Astrid’s eyes shot to you as you stepped toward her. Her grip on her axe tightened and you slowly raised your hands to show her you weren’t there to hurt her.
“Astrid, I understand that you don’t trust me right now. I don’t blame you for a second. But I just want you to know that you’ve got nothing to worry about. I love Hiccup. I love dragons. I’d never do anything to hurt them. As for my brothers, I hope you’ll believe that I’m not like them. I brought these so you guys have a chance to defend this base. These plans are real. The attack that is coming is real. And I’m sure they’ve discovered that I’ve gone by now so they’re coming for us all.”
Astrid narrowed her eyes at you, not saying anything for a minute. Her eyes flicked to Hiccup and Heather behind you. The two of them were giving her looks that begged her to believe you. Astrid sighed angrily but lowered her axe. “Fine, but if this is a trap, I’ll bury this axe in that pretty face of yours.” She growled before spinning on her heels and storming back to her hut.
Hiccup moved next to you and put his hand on your shoulder. You turned to him and gave him a weak smile, shrugging your shoulders. “At least she said I was pretty.”
A/N: Change it around a little. Just Astrid knows she’s there for right now. I made an announcement earlier, if you guys want me to make this into a series I’d be willing to do that because I really like the flow of this story and I think this could make a good full length story. Just let me know if you guys want me to continue this as a story. And as always, thank you for reading!!
